Serve as administrative assistant and scheduler for in-house attorneys in connection with matters to be presented before arbitrators, administrative agencies and civil courts. Role involves the frequent preparation of timely filings at agencies and courts; establishment of case lists and calendar entries; maintenance of physical files; and constant interaction with attorney, arbitrators, as well as external and internal administrative staff. Performs general clerical and secretarial duties. Reports to the General Counsel.REQUIREMENTS:&middot; Responsible for ensuring timely filings&middot; Schedules legal hearings and enters all information into computerized scheduling system&middot; Resolves any scheduling issues&middot; Builds/maintains relationships with field employees, clients and vendors&middot; Maintains clear, concise and constant communication with field employees regarding scheduling&middot; Ability to provide direction and instruction to administrative staff&middot; Ability to understand general directions&middot; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written&middot; Implements office procedures to ensure best practices in the efficient operation of the Legal Department&middot; Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs&middot; Ability to prioritize and organize work and maintain accuracy of work, despite multi-faceted tasks and interruptions.&middot; Ability to create and present reports&middot; Familiarity with legal forms and high-volume paperwork&middot; Answers telephone calls and either responds to inquiry or directs caller to appropriate personnel&middot; Demonstrates a professional attitude and appearance.&middot; Meticulous attention to detailDESIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE&middot; High School Diploma or GED required&middot; Associates degree or above preferred&middot; 2-4 years of office work experience required&middot; 3 years of experience in a Legal office setting preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $56,781.93 - $82,237.19 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Applicant must be able to work in an office setting; this is not a remote position.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Legal Office: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
