Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent <b>Registered Nurse</b> based in <b>Aga Khan Hopsital, Gilgit.</b></p>
<p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Calculate dosage and administers medication and maintains complete patient record/all Nursing documentation</li>
<li>Perform and lead CPR</li>
<li>Run infusions as per advice of physicians</li>
<li>Perform role of Team Leader/Assistant Head Nurse in the absence of Head Nurse to run the services for 24hrs</li>
<li>Take additional responsibilities of running a department as a team leader</li>
<li>Admit and discharge clients as per physician&rsquo;s request.</li>
<li>Participate actively in physician&rsquo;s round and discuss patient&rsquo;s progress and carry out physician&rsquo;s request promptly</li>
<li>Arrange blood and administer to the patient safely</li>
<li>Maintain calculated input and output record</li>
<li>Send requested investigations and maintain records</li>
<li>Enter used item properly in respective document and use hospital supplies and equipment with care</li>
<li>Report to HN/supervisor in case of any problem / complaint / incidents</li>
<li>Maintain proper documentation/record</li>
<li>Ensure functioning of technical equipment</li>
<li>Provide basic surgical and wound care.</li>
<li>Support &amp; help nursing assistants/RNs/RMs/LHVs in performing direct patient care when required.</li>
<li>Assist In-charge/ Head Nurse and other nursing staff as and when required</li>
<li>Inform maintenance Department/supervisor in case of any default found in any instrument/ equipment</li>
<li>Perform bed to bed round of the unit when assigned as team leader of the shift</li>
<li>Manage patient&rsquo;s complaints and issues</li>
<li>Provide relevant health education and teaching to the patients</li>
<li>Perform head-to-the assessment of the assigned patients</li>
<li>Ensure safety of the patients by monitoring fall risks, medication management, and infection control</li></ul><br>

<p><b>
Qualifications &amp; Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>3 years diploma in General Nursing, or BSCN</li>
<li>1-2 years&rsquo; experience in any Health care setup.</li>
<li>I/V Cannulation &amp; Medication Administration.</li>
<li>Can Understand Infection Control &amp; Nursing Protocol.</li>
<li>Demonstrate knowledge about lactation Management</li>
<li>ACLS, PALS NRP and BLS certified</li>
<li>Having advanced critical care skills</li></ul><br>
