<br><p></p><div><p>Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic <b>Medical Officer </b>for its Sindh Region</p>
<p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct regular medicine clinics for all aged women, men and children.</li>
<li>Monitoring and providing general care to patients in outpatient clinics</li>
<li>Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions</li>
<li>Has potential to effectively manage patients providing holistic &amp; cost-effective care</li>
<li>Provide community-based services beyond facility settings, if needed</li>
<li>Should be fully aware of the mission and key objectives of the AKHS, P and endeavours to implement with team spirit within the department</li>
<li>Provide health education to patients</li>
<li>Do home visits where necessary especially of terminally ill, home bound, hospital discharge and bedridden cases</li>
<li>Provide emergency coverage where necessary</li>
<li>Keep record of patients, diagnosis and management of AKHSP provided tools (paper based and digital)</li>
<li>Ensure all medical protocols while providing patient care</li>
<li>Ensure all quality protocols are followed as per AKHSP policy</li>
<li>Should be a team player, with good communication skills</li>
<li>Adequate computer skills and command on English language</li>
<li>Be able to perform basic ultrasound (i.e. abdomen / pelvis / fetal wellbeing).</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualification &amp; Competencies:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>MBBS with valid PMDC licence, Diploma in basic ultrasound is compulsory</li>
<li>Diploma, MCPS, FCPS in any specialty would be preferred</li>
<li>At Least 1 year of relevant experience</li>
<li>Ability to use digital tools</li>
<li>Excellent communication and customer dealing skills</li>
</ul>
