We are looking for a <b>detail-oriented, independent, and passionate Senior Accountant</b> to join our team and take ownership of the financial and accounting department. You will be responsible for the <b>implementation and daily operation of Odoo&rsquo;s Accounting module</b>, ensure timely reporting, accurate invoicing, budget tracking, VAT declarations, and strategic financial support to the management.</p><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

 </b><b>Accounting &amp; Financial Management</b><b>
</b></h3><ul><li>Implement and manage the <b>Odoo Accounting module</b> tailored to AGAD's structure.</li>
<li>Input, categorize, and process all financial data using Odoo based on internal records and Excel trackers.</li>
<li>Reconcile bank statements and track all inbound and outbound transactions.</li>
<li>Monitor all <b>accounts payable and receivable</b>, ensuring accurate financial records.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> </b><b>Invoicing &amp; Payments</b><b>
</b></h3><ul><li><b>Prepare and send client invoices</b> through Odoo, monitor payment status, and follow up on late payments.</li>
<li>Review and pay <b>supplier/vendor invoices</b> after approval.</li>
<li>Ensure timely and compliant <b>VAT calculations and filings</b>.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> </b><b>Reporting &amp; Analysis</b><b>
</b></h3><ul><li>Generate financial reports on <b>revenue, profit, expenses, and margins</b> using Odoo dashboards.</li>
<li>Present monthly and quarterly <b>budget vs actuals</b> performance reports.</li>
<li>Produce <b>balance sheets</b>, <b>P&amp;L statements</b>, and <b>year-end financial reports</b>.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> </b><b>Payroll &amp; Commissions</b><b>
</b></h3><ul><li>Calculate monthly <b>payroll for employees</b>, considering bonuses, allowances, and social contributions.</li>
<li><b>Compute and track commission</b> structures for the sales team.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> </b><b>Strategic Financial Planning</b><b>
</b></h3><ul><li>Propose and manage <b>budgets</b> for departments, investments, and operational costs.</li>
<li>Serve as a <b>financial advisor</b> to the management by analyzing performance data and proposing improvements.</li>
<li>Support decision-making on financial matters such as pricing strategy, cost control, and cash flow optimization.</li>

Requirements</b></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Requirements</b></h3><ul>
<li><b>Minimum 4&ndash;6 years</b> of experience in accounting or financial management.</li>
<li>Proven expertise in <b>Odoo Accounting module</b> (must-have).</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of accounting standards, payroll rules, and VAT filing 'preferablly international&quot;</li>
<li>Experience in working with <b>B2B service companies</b> is preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient in Excel, reporting tools, and financial analysis.</li>
<li>Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a big plus).</li>
