This position requires advanced skills in pediatric care, including suctioning, medication administration, tube feeding (g-tube and ng-tube), oxygen therapy, seizure monitoring, and meticulous documentation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pediatric nursing, possess exceptional clinical skills, and demonstrate a caring demeanor towards young patients and their families.**Responsibilities:**- Perform suctioning procedures as needed.- Administer medications according to established protocols.- Manage tube feeding through g-tubes and ng-tubes.- Monitor oxygen therapy and adjust settings as necessary.- Conduct seizure monitoring and provide appropriate interventions.- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.-Complete initial, follow-up, Post-hospitialization and discharge assessments as well as bi-weekly nursing summaries.- Provide education and support to patients' families regarding care protocols and home management.-Conduct supervisory visits of staff**Qualifications:**- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a hospital or pediatric care setting.- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferredProficiency in performing suctioning, medication administration, and tube feeding (g-tube and ng-tube) procedures.- Strong understanding of oxygen therapy management and seizure monitoring.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care tasks.**Benefits:**- Competitive salary based on experience.**Application Instructions:**Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are passionate about pediatric nursing.
