<div>The Maintenance Mechanic will perform maintenance on light-duty trucks and commercial motor vehicles. (CMV) 
Must know how to Sandblast and how to weld. 
Duties/Responsibilities:
<div>
<ul><li>Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on vehicles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Thoroughly maintenances vehicles, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Oils and lubricates moving parts on vehicles to ensure effective performance.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Installs replacement parts for vehicles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of vehicles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Repairs broken down vehicles quickly and efficiently.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepares reports documenting work performed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keeps shop area clean and organized.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on vehicles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborates with shop manager or supervisor regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with shop manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to vehicle as required.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul></div>

Education and Experience:

<ul><li>Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required.</li></ul></div> 


Physical Requirements:

<ul><li>Prolonged periods standing and walking.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be able to visually inspect trucks.</li></ul>
<ul><li> 
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.</li></ul></div></div>
