The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, particularly skid steers, and possess a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role involves working on various projects that require precise maneuvering and operation of heavy machinery to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate skid steer loaders safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites.</li><li>Perform tasks such as loading, unloading, digging, grading, and material handling using heavy equipment like excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks.</li><li>Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, paving, and other construction activities requiring heavy equipment operation.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.</li><li>Proven experience operating skid steers and other heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drills, and paving machinery. </li><li>Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.</li><li>Commercial driving (CDL) experience preferred for operating trucks related to construction projects.</li><li>Knowledge of Caterpillar, Case, John Deere equipment is a plus.</li><li>Ability to read technical manuals and interpret project plans.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.</li><li>Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods in various weather conditions.
