Overview: AGE OF EMPIRE, Inc., a leader in concrete restoration and construction services, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to support our management and field teams. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who takes ownership of their work, maintains confidentiality, and communicates clearly with internal team members and external partners.The right candidate is proactive, highly dependable, and experienced with standard bookkeeping practices such as accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. They should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with management to ensure financial records are accurate, up to date, and compliant.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day operations related to vendor accounts, and field support.</li><li>Serve as key liason between vendors and internal team.</li><li>Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships.</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, and accounts receivable.</li><li>Process vendor invoices.</li><li>Proactively monitor account activity, and address discrepancies.</li><li>Prepare financial reports for management review.</li><li>Work closely with management and project teams to provide financial clarity.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Data Entry</li><li>Former Bookkeeping or accounts payables experience (Construction industry preferred).</li><li>Proficiency in Quickbooks.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).</li><li>Must know how to use Gmail, Outlook, G-Drive, or One Drive.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication.</li><li>Bilingual (English &amp; Spanish) required.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Opportunity for growth in a fast-paced construction environment.</li><li>Team-oriented, supportive workplace.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>Associate (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Book: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li><li>Spanish (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Miami, FL 33155 (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Miami, FL 33155 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
