We are seeking a Health and Wellness Director who leads with heart, integrity, and expertise. In this role, you&rsquo;ll ensure every resident receives compassionate, person-centered care while inspiring and supporting our wellness team to deliver their best each day.

What You&rsquo;ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead by Example: Be visible, engage with residents, and support staff in daily care activities.
</li>
<li>Resident Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized service plans in line with physician orders and resident needs.
</li>
<li>Effective Communication: Serve as the key liaison between residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
</li>
<li>Compliance &amp; Documentation: Maintain accurate records and service plans to meet state regulations.
</li>
<li>Hands-On Support: Provide direct care when needed and supervise nursing services to ensure safety and quality.
</li>
<li>Staff Leadership &amp; Development: Train, mentor, and guide wellness staff; conduct in-services and promote professional growth.
</li>
<li>Resident Assessments: Evaluate prospective residents&rsquo; care needs and suitability for the community.
</li>
<li>Medication Oversight: Ensure accurate and safe management of medications.
</li>
<li>Emergency Response: Respond promptly to resident emergencies with proper documentation and follow-up.
</li>
<li>Risk Management: Identify at-risk residents and implement proactive safety plans.
</li>
<li>Wellness Programming: Lead programs promoting health, education, and preventive care to enhance residents&rsquo; quality of life.
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3>
<ul>
<li>RN or LPN License: Active, valid license for the State of IA.
</li>
<li>Senior Care Experience: Minimum 1 year working with seniors; understanding of senior health needs is essential.
</li>
<li>Management Experience: At least 2 years leading a team.
</li>
<li>Medication Expertise: Strong knowledge of medications, dosages, and potential side effects.
</li>
<li>Skills &amp; Traits: Integrity, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and commitment to fostering independence and dignity.
</li>
<li>Tech Savvy: Comfortable using essential software tools.
</li>
<li>Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and serve as Manager on Duty as needed as well as be on call.
</li>
