Overview AgentTech I/O is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to join our in-office engineering team in Land O Lakes, FL. You will work alongside senior engineers on real production code that powers insurance call centers across the country. We are looking for someone hungry, coachable, and curious &mdash; formal CS background is not required if you can show you build things. Expect to learn a lot, fast, in a collaborative in-person environment.What you'll do<ul><li>Ship features and bug fixes across our backend services, internal tools, and admin surfaces.</li><li>Write clean, tested code and learn our standards through code review.</li><li>Pair with senior engineers on harder problems and grow your scope over time.</li><li>Help maintain internal tooling, dashboards, and operational scripts.</li><li>Investigate and triage production issues with guidance from the team.</li><li>Write clear PR descriptions and runbooks.</li><li>Take feedback well and iterate quickly.</li></ul>What we're looking for<ul><li>0-2 years of professional software engineering experience (internships, freelance, and meaningful side projects count).</li><li>Working knowledge of at least one modern language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, PHP, or similar).</li><li>Comfortable with Git, the Linux command line, and basic SQL.</li><li>Curiosity about how systems actually work &mdash; networks, databases, browsers.</li><li>Strong written communication; ability to explain what you built and why.</li><li>Coachable, low-ego, and excited to learn from in-person mentorship.</li><li>Must be able to commute daily to our Land O Lakes, FL office.</li></ul>Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of programming experience do you have (including school, internships, and serious side projects)? </li><li>Which languages have you used to build something real (not just tutorials)? </li><li>Please share a link to your GitHub, portfolio, or a project you are proud of.
