Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets in their home environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being while their owners are away. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.Duties<ul><li>Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pets in your care.</li><li>Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the pet owner or veterinarian.</li><li>Engage with pets through playtime and exercise to promote their physical and mental well-being.</li><li>Perform basic grooming tasks such as brushing and bathing when necessary.</li><li>Ensure proper animal restraint techniques are used during handling to maintain safety for both the sitter and the pet.</li><li>Communicate regularly with pet owners regarding their pet's status and any issues that may arise.</li><li>Assist with heavy lifting of larger animals or equipment as required.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in pet care, kennel work, or pet sitting is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of animal behavior and basic training techniques is a plus.</li><li>Experience as a veterinary technician or in animal care settings is beneficial.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., large dogs or equipment).</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both pets and their owners.</li><li>Must be responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently.</li><li>Flexibility in scheduling is preferred to accommodate various client needs.</li></ul>If you have a passion for animals and are committed to providing top-notch care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Pet Sitter.Job Type: Part-timePay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
