Role Overview: Reporting to the Service manager, he Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations across multiple departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. This role involves leading and developing teams, implementing policies, monitoring performance, and collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals. What you ll do: <ul> <li>Supervise daily site operations to ensure productivity and safety. </li> <li>Ensure equipment maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to production schedules. </li> <li>Prioritize safety and compliance with company policies, standards, processes, and procedures. </li> <li>Identify production bottlenecks or operational issues and implement effective solutions. </li> <li>Review and develop operations documentation to support continuous improvement. </li> <li>Develop the skills and capabilities of technicians through coaching and training. </li> <li>Ensure strict adherence to safety practices and quality standards. </li> <li>Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives. </li> </ul> You ll have the following skills and experience: <ul> <li>Experienced in leading a team in a workshop or factory-based environment </li> <li>Technically Competent, preferably within Power Generation Environment </li> <li>Holds themselves and others to account </li> <li>Capable of defining, setting and improving standards </li> <li>Well organized, able to handle multi tasks in a controlled manner. </li> </ul>

Production Supervisor

Role overview: The Oil Free Air Technical Specialist ensures the successful introduction and integration of new products into the Middle East business by delivering highly specialised technical support.
What you ll do: 
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair OFA compressed air systems and related machinery.</li>
<li>Install OFA compressed air systems and related machinery.</li>
<li>Specific tasks may include but are not limited to: oil &amp; filter changes, mechanical repair, electrical and electronic repair, plumbing, welding, painting, fabrication and other tasks assigned by the service manager.</li>
<li>Subject Matter Expertise and Knowledge Transfer: Build personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products and aspire to become a subject matter expert. Guide and influence local technical teams, transferring knowledge and building capabilities. Support the Learning team with design and delivery of training solutions.</li>
<li>Technical Support and Customer Excellence: Elevate the business s customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries, contributing to the development of documented guidance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, as well as optimising performance during the new product introduction and infancy care period. Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of solutions, with a specific emphasis on performing failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for new and existing products.</li>
<li>Collaboration and Project Implementation: Liaise with Aggreko sales, technicians, and management to provide technical solutions, and lead project implementation in early mobilisations or first-of-a-kind projects, with emphasis on design, commissioning, and knowledge transfer.</li>
<li>Promote Green Solutions: Lead site and project delivery of hybridized and low emission solutions, setting an example for greener upgrades and ensuring success for customers.</li>
<li>Technical Drawings: Interpret, modify, and create layout, arrangement, and technical drawings using CAD and sketch tools. Analyse technical drawings to establish parameters for safe and efficient solutions.</li>
<li>Health, Safety and Continuous Improvement: Specialise in understanding the risks associated with new power products. Ensure compliance with Aggreko HSE policies and procedures. Provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and integration processes.</li>
</ul>
You ll have the following skills and experience:
<ul>
<li>University degree or above, science and engineering background (prefer one of below: Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and/or power, Measurement and control technology and instruments)</li>
<li>Minimum 5-7 years product technical hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.</li>
<li>Flexibility to travel internationally as required by the role</li>
<li>Proven experience on compressed air, rotating and air drier equipment</li>
<li>Should have very good analytical skills</li>
<li>Understanding of AC and DC power, 3 phase system, components</li>
<li>Should possess a good knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems</li>
<li>Robust technical proficiency with an exceptional mastery, specifically concentrated on emerging products. Familiarity with emerging trends in the industry</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Growth mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li>
<li>Dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience, coupled with a familiarity with industry regulations and standards</li>
<li>In-depth understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration. Possesses basic project management skills.</li>
