<p><b>How You&rsquo;ll Make a Difference (Essential Functions)</b></p>
<p>As the Vice President of Human Resources, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, leading key functions that shape Agrace&rsquo;s culture and workforce. You will oversee Human Resources, Volunteer Services, Employee Experience, and Education and Workforce Development, ensuring all programs align with Agrace&rsquo;s mission, values, and strategic goals.</p><br>
<p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Strategic Planning and Leadership
<ul><li>Lead HR-related departments with clear vision, strategic oversight, and a culture that reflects Agrace's core values</li>
<li>Collaborate with executive peers to design and implement organization strategies and initiatives</li>
<li>Partner with the CEO on executive compensation, retirement, and benefits programs, preparing recommendations for Board review</li>
<li>Contribute to the development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan, ensuring alignment between business goals and people strategy</li>
<li>Develop and mentor emerging leaders across the organization</li>
<li>Advise senior leadership on complex employment matters, workforce planning, and labor law compliance</li>
<li>Serve as part of the leadership team responsible for emergency response and organizational accessibility</li>
</ul></li><li>Human Resources Leadership
<ul><li>Provide executive oversight of all HR functions, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and talent management</li>
<li>Serve as the Plan Administrator for retirement and benefits programs, overseeing vendor relationships, audits, and compliance with ERISA and plan charters</li>
<li>Lead annual benefits negotiations, executive compensation analysis, and performance-based pay recommendations</li>
<li>Ensure recruitment strategies attract and retain top talent across all levels, including executive and clinical roles</li>
<li>Oversee employee relations, coaching, and performance improvement practices</li>
<li>Drive leadership development, performance management, and succession planning initiatives</li>
<li>Collaborate across departments to maintain HR operational excellence, compliance, and high engagement levels</li>
</ul></li><li>Volunteer Services Leadership
<ul><li>Oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of Agrace&rsquo;s Volunteer Services</li>
<li>Ensure volunteer programs meet patient, family, and regulatory requirements, including Medicare volunteer participation standards</li>
<li>Cultivate a culture of volunteerism aligned with Agrace&rsquo;s mission</li>
</ul></li><li>Employee Experience Leadership
<ul><li>Champion Agrace&rsquo;s culture and employee engagement efforts across the employee lifecycle</li>
<li>Provide executive oversight to the Employee Experience Committee, Affinity Groups, and Veterans Affairs Task Force</li>
<li>Lead initiatives to assess and improve employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture</li>
<li>Ensure annual employee feedback processes result in actionable, organization-wide improvements</li>
</ul></li><li>Education and Workforce Development Leadership
<ul><li>Oversee professional development and clinical education programs that advance staff skills and leadership capability</li>
<li>Partner with the Chief Compliance Officer to identify regulatory and clinical learning needs and ensure compliance-focused education</li>
<li>Evaluate return on investment for training initiatives and ensure all onboarding, orientation, and continuing education programs are effective and engaging</li>
</ul></li><li>Team Management
<ul><li>Lead and develop department staff, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth</li>
<li>Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning within the HR and related teams</li>
<li>Promote cross-training and operational continuity across leadership areas</li><br>
</ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b>You Bring (Qualifications)</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master&rsquo;s degree or HR certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred</li>
<li>10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive role</li>
<li>Proven success developing and implementing HR strategy aligned with organizational mission and business goals</li>
<li>Strong understanding of employment law, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and organizational development</li>
<li>Experience in nonprofit or healthcare settings preferred</li>
<li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills</li></ul><br>
