We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Lysander, NY. This hands-on role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical systems and components that keep our high-speed manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently. As part of a cross-functional maintenance team, duties may also be inclusive of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing/pipe fitting, and refrigeration.</p></div><div><p>
The pay rate for this role is $33.97 - $35.25 / hour with shift premium included. This is a 2nd Shift position, hours of which are 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday through Friday.</p></div><div><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p>
Perform electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, components, and circuit boards.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Install, replace, and modify electrical wiring, receptacles, lighting, and fixtures.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Conduct inspections and testing of equipment to ensure code compliance and operational safety.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Perform preventive maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of all repairs and service.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Support plant uptime by responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly and effectively.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, ensuring readiness for repair or project work.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Adhere to all OSHA safety procedures and company-specific safety programs.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Additional maintenance duties as assigned</p></li></ul></div><div><p><b>
Required Qualifications:</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p>
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food or manufacturing environment.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and reading technical diagrams.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code), OSHA standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional maintenance team.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Solid organizational and time-management skills.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p></li></ul></div><div><p><b>
Preferred</b>:</p></div><div><ul><li><p>
Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program or technical certification.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and control panel wiring.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).</p></li></ul></div><div><p>
This position requires working onsite at our manufacturing facility in Lysander, NY.</p></div><div><p>
