Agricom Impex Private Limited, a leading player in grain trading and agricultural commodities, is seeking an experienced Purchasing &amp; Operations Manager to oversee procurement, supplier management, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate fluently in Russian (mandatory). This role requires frequent international travel to source markets and supplier locations.Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing &amp; Procurement<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable international suppliers for grains such as safflower, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, niger seeds, and related commodities.</li><li>Execute purchasing strategies to ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and timely sourcing.</li><li>Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and pricing information.</li></ul>Operations &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Oversee end-to-end operational activities including logistics, shipment planning, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.</li><li>Ensure smooth and timely execution of import/export processes.</li></ul>Negotiation &amp; Relationship Management<ul><li>Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements with vendors.</li><li>Build and maintain strong professional relationships with global suppliers, traders, and logistics partners.</li></ul>Market &amp; Product Knowledge<ul><li>Stay updated on market trends, price movements, supply-demand patterns, and competitor activities in the grains and oilseeds sector.</li><li>Assess product quality and ensure procurement aligns with company standards.</li></ul>Travel<ul><li>Must be ready to travel outside India to various sourcing regions, including CIS countries, Russia ,Europe, Africa and other grain-producing markets.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; QualificationsFluent Russian-speaking skills (mandatory).Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or trading&mdash;preferably in grains, oilseeds, or agricultural commodities.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Knowledge of global grain markets and commodity trade practices.Ability to handle multi-location operations and international travel.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with CIS countries' suppliers.Understanding of import/export regulations, logistics, and documentation.Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;960,000.00 - &#8377;1,800,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
