PURPOSE:This role is responsible for performing field operations, inspections, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of sewage and stormwater networks. It involves hands-on work, operation of specialized equipment, supporting emergency interventions, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.ROLES &amp; RESPOSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on sewer and drainage pipelines, manholes, chambers, pumping lines, and related assets.</li><li>Operate maintenance equipment such as jetting machines, vacuum tankers, CCTV inspection robots, pumps, and dewatering systems.</li><li>Assist in locating and clearing blockages, removing debris, sediment, roots, and other obstructions from pipelines.</li><li>Perform manhole inspections, identify structural defects, infiltration, surcharging, odor complaints, or operational issues.</li><li>Support corrective maintenance and minor repairs including cover replacement, chamber cleaning, and pipe section repairs.</li><li>Document field activities through checklists, work orders, and photographic evidence.</li><li>Respond promptly to sewer blockages, overflows, flooding incidents, pipe collapses, and urgent network failures.</li><li>Implement temporary bypass pumping, flow diversion, and safety measures during emergencies.</li><li>Assist engineers and supervisors in emergency root cause analysis and corrective actions.</li><li>Safely operate and maintain tools and machinery such as:</li><li>Confined space entry equipment</li><li>Perform daily equipment checks and report defects or malfunctions.</li><li>Follow all HSE procedures, especially for confined space entry, working at height, traffic diversion, and hazardous gas environments.</li><li>Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines.</li><li>Conduct site preparation including barricading, signage, and public safety measures.</li><li>Update work orders in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).</li><li>Report unusual findings, asset defects, and potential network risks to the supervisor.</li><li>Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other field teams to support network operations.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years experience in drainage or wastewater network maintenance, utilities, or heavy field operations.</li></ul>Competencies:<ul><li>Knowledge of sewer and drainage network components (pipelines, manholes, chambers, connections, laterals).</li><li>Ability to read basic utility maps, plans, and GIS layouts.</li><li>Skilled in using drainage maintenance equipment and tools.</li><li>Familiarity with CMMS and basic reporting procedures.</li><li>Understanding of safe working practices and environmental compliance.</li></ul>Education: <ul><li>Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Water/Wastewater Technology, or related field.</li></ul>Language: English (written and verbal communication)Joining: January 2026Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR1.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Your current location: </li><li>Are you willing to relocate to Qatar? </li><li>Joining Period: </li><li>Can you obtain &quot;NOC&quot;/transfer approval? Technician

PURPOSE:The role ensures that all pipe fitting and repair work are executed safely, efficiently, and according to technical specifications, quality standards, and operational schedules. The Foreman also supervises pipe fitters, helpers, and maintenance crews in daily field operations.ROLES &amp; RESPOSIBILITIES<ul><li>Plan, organize, and supervise pipe fitting crews engaged in installation, maintenance, and repair of sewage network pipelines and fittings.</li><li>Review work orders, drawings, and specifications to determine materials, manpower, and equipment requirements.</li><li>Direct field teams in performing pipe cutting, jointing, threading, welding, and alignment according to approved methods.</li><li>Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with design standards, workmanship quality, and safety regulations.</li><li>Identify and diagnose pipe damage, leakages, or blockages and recommend suitable repair solutions.</li><li>Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for work scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting.</li><li>Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and vehicles assigned to the crew.</li><li>Maintain daily activity reports, timesheets, and material usage logs.</li><li>Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures, including confined space entry and traffic management.</li><li>Participate in emergency response operations, such as sewer overflows, breakages, or flooding incidents.</li><li>Train and mentor pipe fitters and helpers to improve their technical skills and work efficiency.</li><li>Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, mechanical, civil) to ensure smooth project execution.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in sewage network or water pipeline operations and maintenance, including at least 2&ndash;3 years in foreman role.</li></ul>Competencies: <ul><li>Proficient in pipe fitting, jointing methods, and field repair techniques.</li><li>Identifies faults and determines efficient repair methods.</li><li>Follows confined space entry, PPE, and hazard control procedures.</li><li>Works cooperatively with supervisors, operators, and other crew members.</li><li>Consistently performs duties with accuracy, punctuality, and dependability.</li><li>Responds effectively to changing site conditions or emergency repair needs.</li><li>Ensures proper alignment, sealing, and testing of all pipe connections.</li></ul>Education: <ul><li>High School Diploma / Technical or Vocational Certificate in Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Mechanical Trades.</li></ul>Language: English (written and verbal communication)Joining: January 2026Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR1.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Your current location: </li><li>Are you willing to relocate to Qatar? </li><li>Joining Period: </li><li>Can you obtain &quot;NOC&quot;/transfer approval?
