Based on course content, wages will range from $1,297.00 per credit to $3,753.00 per credit.</div><div>
In certain instances, due to low enrollment, faculty payment will be based on part-time per credit pay and pro-rated on a 10% per student basis.</div><div></div><div>

Job Description:</div><div>

The faculty member will conduct their assignments and co-curricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Aims Community College as stated in the school catalog. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. Occasional travel may be required.<div></div><div>

Job Duties:</div><ul><li><div>
Instruct assignments which may include a variety of courses in Astronomy, Geology or Physics depending on the candidate&rsquo;s area of expertise.</div></li><li><div>
Participate in on-going professional development.</div></li><li><div>
Work collaboratively with full-time faculty that are course captains for the courses assigned.</div></li><li><div>
Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and the Academic Dean.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Work Hours:</div><ul><li><div>
Teach day and/or evening classes at Greeley campus or satellite campuses in Loveland and Fort Lupton.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Minimum Qualifications:</div><ul><li><div>
Master's degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, earth system science, or related discipline (master's degree must show at least 12 graduate level credit hours in content-specific courses) OR Master's degree including 18 graduate level credit hours in meteorology.<br>
Graduate level science education courses can account for no more than six of the required 18 graduate level credit hours.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

All required documents need to be submitted on every application. There is no way for Aims to attach these documents in the process. However, upon hire current Aims Community College Faculty are not required to submit transcripts if official transcripts are already on file.</div><div></div><div>
