<div>POSITION SUMMARY
Network Operations Center (NOC) Support Engineers oversee the configuration, installation, and monitoring of all critical elements of Ainsworth&rsquo;s server-based gaming and progressive systems. This role requires advanced knowledge in the configuration of hardware, software, network, and storage solutions.
REPORTS TO: Service Support Manager
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Infrastructure Management: Assembles server and progressive hardware (installation of memory, CPU, hard drives). Installs, configures, and maintains Windows Server environments, Microsoft SQL databases, and network architecture including switches and firewalls.</li><li>
Technical Support: Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, field concerns, and performance errors. Reproduces field issues in test/lab environments to identify root causes and provides on-call 24/7 support when designated.</li><li>
Deployment &amp; Documentation: Assists with the setup, testing, and deployment of new technology solutions and identifies process improvement initiatives. Creates and maintains documentation related to processes, procedures, and policies.</li></ul>
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Network Operation &amp; Security, IT, or Computer Science.</li><li>
Minimum 2 years related work experience.</li></ul>
Knowledge &amp; Skills<ul><li>
Advanced Windows Server administration, Active Directory, virtualization.</li><li>
Basic PowerShell understanding.</li></ul>
PHYSICAL &amp; MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Sitting: Primary work involves monitoring systems and scripting from a workstation.</li><li>
Keyboarding: Essential for server administration and coding.</li><li>
Lifting/Carrying: Required when assembling server hardware weighing 26 up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Decision Making: Involves critical decisions regarding live server environments.</li></ul>
Additional Requirements<ul><li>
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada gaming registration.</li><li>
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.</li></ul></div>
