 A DAY IN THE LIFE
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Draft, negotiate, and finalise a broad range of commercial contracts with U.S. and international counterparties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide clear, practical advice to business stakeholders, balancing legal risk with commercial opportunity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the first point of contact for legal queries from the offices in North America, collaborating with senior management and escalating issues as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support cross-border transactions and projects, working closely with colleagues in London and across other international offices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to the development of legal processes, playbooks, and templates that will enhance efficiency and consistency across the department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage with compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives as the department expands.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Contract drafting and negotiation experience (preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, sales staff, administrative staff and senior management
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communicator to all organization seniority levels
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable with working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
 </li>
 <li>
 A creative, problem-solving mindset, with demonstrated ability to turn ideas into products or actions
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous exposure to the sales bids process and previous experience with using a contract management system or other legal software.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with prior in-house legal role/experience required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous aviation industry experience is a plus
 </li>

 QUALIFICATIONS

 Admitted to the New York State Bar (or in another state); equivalent legal experience considered
 </li>

 International training based in our London HQ for approximately one month.
