As a Contracts Specialist you will play a pivotal role in managing and negotiating contracts to support our business objectives. Your expertise will ensure compliance, mitigate risks and drive successful partnerships, contributing to our organization&rsquo;s growth and success.
Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Draft, review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.</li><li>
Analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure they are fair and mitigate risk for the organization.</li><li>
Collaborate with legal, credit and finance to align contract terms organizational goals and legal requirements.</li><li>
Maintain an organized system for digital and hard copy of contract records and ensure all relevant documentation is accessible.</li><li>
Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying any issues or discrepancies and proposing solutions.</li><li>
Facilitate the contract approval process by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and obtaining necessary signatures.</li><li>
Assist in developing and implementing contract management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>
Conduct periodic contract audits and evaluations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.</li><li>
Stay up to date on legal and regulatory changes affecting contracts and advise leadership of necessary adjustments.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Required Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>
Strong understanding of contract law and the ability to interpret legal documents.</li><li>
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.</li><li>
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP software.</li></ul>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline, required.</li><li>
Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or a related role.</li><li>
Certification of contract management (e.g. NCMA, IACCM) is a plus.</li><li>
Accounting or finance knowledge is a plus, particularly in relation to GAAP, payment terms, invoicing, and reconciliation.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</li><li>
