 The Working-Party Manager is a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) holding an active EASA Part-66 AML (Aircraft Maintenance License). In this role, you will oversee working parties (technical modifications and/or repairs) on delivered aircraft by leading cross-functional teams deployed to customer sites.
 
 
 In the event of major repairs, this role may also encompass the duties of a Repair Embodiment Manager (REM), taking full accountability for the repair embodiment process from initial assessment to final release. You will provide operational and functional leadership for all on-site personnel, including spares, engineering representatives, preparators, sub-contractors, workers, and inspectors.

 Operational &amp; Project Management:

 Manage the working party on-site, including site preparation, installation and verifying that facilities comply with internal processes.

 Conduct continuous safety risk assessments (dynamic assessments before, during, and after maintenance activities).
 </li>

 Allocate tasks to staff based on required competencies and coordinate daily progress with the customer.
 </li>

 Ensure completion of work within the agreed downtime and budget.

 Perform incoming inspections of parts, tools, and the aircraft.

 Monitor and ensure the availability of additional parts, components, tools, and consumables.

 Ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft for all work performed.

 Establish the Working Party file and issue the Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) in accordance with EASA/FAR Part 145 rules and Airbus procedures.

 Manage major repairs upon request, minimizing global lead time from assessment to CRS.

 Airbus family type ratings and provide documented evidence of exercising certification privileges within the preceding two years, comprising either six continuous months of maintenance experience, 100 base maintenance days, or 180 line maintenance tasks

 General technical education (Technical Bachelor, BTS, or equivalent).

Your tasks and responsibilities
<ul><li>Problem Discovery &amp; Feasibility: Partner with business leads, technical teams to review feasibility of AI use cases, identify technical bottlenecks and lead development of the required AI solutions from GenAI prompt engineering requests, to implementing RAG (retrieval augmented generation) pipeline, and end-to-end orchestrating of a full agentic solution.
</li><li>Tactical Implementation: Evaluate implementation requirements of AI use cases across various Airbus networks / deployment environments and available technology to make critical decisions to minimize end-user / operations impacts and individual AI use cases on the business. </h2>Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

The Digital Airframe Advanced Capabilities team is excited to welcome a Senior Software Architect specializing in Airframe Software Architecture.
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Role Summary
</h2>We're unifying fragmented processes, methods, tools, and data across Airbus's Domains to create a cohesive Digital Airframe team at the forefront of digitalization. In this pivotal role, you'll lead and provide technical guidance to critical project teams driving Airbus Engineering's digital transformation. This means strategically leveraging cutting-edge Modelling &amp; Simulation, Multi-disciplinary Analysis and Optimisation, System Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Model Integration methods to bridge the gap with traditional engineering disciplines like structure design, analysis, Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), and automation.
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Key Responsibilities
</h2><ul><li>Lead the development of end-to-end software architectures, translating complex Airframe Engineering requirements into authoritative designs using robust system modeling techniques.
</li><li>Lead software engineering teams, ensuring implementation of Software Engineering methods and guardrails/guidelines to ensure robust Software Development, Validation, and Verification (V&amp;V) including commissioning and remedial actions.
</li><li>Understand and define Modelling specifications using UML, BPMN, Archimate
</li><li>Design and execute robust full stack software solutions in line with business requirements and the digital Process, Methods and Tools landscape following ISO15288 standards.
</li><li>Ensure robustness by design, including architectural dossiers, QA code review, and V&amp;V methodology (elementary, integration, and user validation/acceptance testing).
</li><li>Guide, invent, and scout technology trends to inform future strategies and R&amp;T roadmaps.
</li><li>Contribute to scientific communities by publishing scientific papers, creating intellectual property (IP), and participating in PhD juries and other academic collaborations.
</li><li>Preparation of handover to industrialisation ensuring robust TRL6
</li><li>Demonstrate strong leadership of Software Architecture on behalf of Airframe Engineering, leading architectural discussions with other Engineering Centres and Digital teams, especially at the start of major projects or programs.
</li><li>Lead multi-functional projects, influencing both business and digital functions, and reporting progress to senior leadership.
</li><li>Represent Airbus in various forums and advise on boards and consortia.

</h2><ul><li>Profound knowledge and practical application of Software Architecture, Systems of Systems (preferably experience in setting them up), Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods Data Management, including Data Lineage.
</li><li>Experience with large infrastructure routes to industrialization and integrating complex or multi-value projects.
</li><li>Skilled in Stakeholder Management, including working effectively with external suppliers, academia, and government agencies.
</li><li>Capacity to motivate and work in transnational teams.
