About the role
As an HVAC Superintendent at Airo Mechanical, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing all on-site aspects of HVAC installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. This role presents an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of challenging and rewarding projects.
What you'll do<ul><li>
Lead and manage HVAC projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet project objectives and client expectations.</li><li>
Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project.</li><li>
Ensure that HVAC installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.</li><li>
Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.</li><li>
Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.</li><li>
Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed.</li><li>
Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.</li><li>
Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings.</li><li>
Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Proven experience as an HVAC Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.</li><li>
Excellent leadership and team management skills.</li><li>
Familiarity with project management software and tools.</li><li>
Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.</li><li>
OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.</li><li>
HVAC-related certifications and licenses a plus.</li><li>
A valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul></div>
