 One of our major Oil and gas clients has asked Airswift to seek a Principal Process Engineer for an initial 6-month assignment in Houston, TX with high possibility of extension.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Overview
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 The Principal Process Engineer III provides process engineering support to the International Operations facilities (across the Gulf of Mexico and Trinidad &amp; Tobago).
 </li>
 <li>
 This position requires interaction with Operations, Production Engineering, HSE, and other functions, and is responsible for providing technical support to the production facilities, advising on process and production optimization, and supporting the integration of brownfield development projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 This role will report to the Surface Engineering Manager &ndash; GOM and is based in Houston, Texas.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Key responsibilities include:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide technical leadership in process engineering across topsides equipment, subsea flowline, and onshore storage and off-take equipment to the operations and maintenance teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster effective relationships with both office and site-based teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Subsea flowline and topsides equipment process engineering support to Operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop process solutions to ensure safe and reliable operations, which may include additional new or temporary equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead or participate as a member of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) teams as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the design, detailed engineering, and work management planning of facilities process modifications using an MOC process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in HAZOPs, HAZIDs, LOPAs, other risk assessments, and Design Reviews.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides governance and oversight to ensure engineering practices are carried out in accordance with the required technical standards, processes, and procedures while operating in compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own and continually improve the process surveillance tools and KPIs across the operated facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provision of technical expertise and direction in &ldquo;Case to Operate&rdquo; scenarios related to process engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, design, and implement engineering &amp; maintenance change projects as they relate to the process engineering discipline in accordance with Management of Change procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide review and endorsement, where applicable, for management of change projects led by others for the facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Guide engineering contractors on the application of the company&rsquo;s procedures and guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure technical risks are identified and assessments conducted by the Process Safety Management procedure requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Routine travel to offshore facilities may be required to support projects as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Trips could be a minimum of 3 days to more than a week.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor activities and developments in Process Engineering across industry groups, regulators, and contractors to identify and support the implementation of best practices across International Operations.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A Bachelor of Science degree in Process / Chemical Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 15+ years&rsquo; industry-related experience, with a minimum of 10 years supporting the production of oil &amp; gas facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong technical knowledge of separation, dehydration, and compression is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of flow assurance risks associated with offshore deepwater production facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with process &amp; hydraulic simulation tools (e.g., Aspentech HYSYS).
 </li>
 <li>
 Detailed expertise in Process Safety
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with relevant process safety risk assessments and functional safety tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in Incident Response (or willing to participate)
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer status preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of API codes affecting process design (e.g., API RP 14C, 14E, 520, 521).
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with ISA/IEE codes for safety and control systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with PI data historian.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with engineering design, construction, commissioning, and oil &amp; gas operational background.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrates strong teamwork and influencing skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrates HSE leadership in a producing asset environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrates high levels of autonomy and business acumen.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge in system integration &ndash; ability to solve complex problems, understanding the interactions between the interfaces.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with / knowledge of regulatory requirements in the Gulf of Mexico.
 </li>
 <li>
 BSEE requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 30 CFR Part 250.

 Role Description
 
 
 
 
 The Client Service Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with specifically assigned clients. This role focuses on driving growth through existing and new service lines, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and maintaining strategic alignment between Airswift&rsquo;s offerings and client needs.
