 As an Ocean Export Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely export of shipments for our valued customers. This position offers a dynamic blend of operational responsibility, customer interaction, and compliance expertise in a fast-paced, international environment.

  Responsibilities

  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Coordinate and ensure timely export shipment processing
  </li>
  <li>
   Optimize and document operational procedures and workflows
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide expert support and consultation to customers
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage customs clearance and related documentation
  </li>
  <li>
   Communicate with customers, agents, and service providers
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare and follow up on quotations; conduct sales negotiations
  </li>
  <li>
   Process and secure customer invoices
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor deadlines and ensure accurate invoicing
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, delivery notes, customs documents, etc.
  </li>

   Handle Dangerous Goods shipments in full compliance with applicable regulations

   Completed commercial apprenticeship in international forwarding
  </li>
  <li>
   Education in business administration
  </li>
  <li>
   Professional experience in international freight forwarding

   Fluent Germany and English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
  </li>
  <li>
   Quick comprehension and a precise, reliable working style
  </li>
  <li>
   Independent, efficient, and accurate work ethic
  </li>

Overview:

This role<b><i> </i></b>is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day air export of freight forwarding shipments based upon customer requests.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Operations: Ensure smooth cargo execution, handling shipment, timely delivery, and operational efficiency.</li><li>
Procurement: Air freight procurement to optimize costs, generate revenue, and coordinate with airlines to stay informed on market trends and capacity</li><li>
Pricing : Manage pricing/RFQ requests to gain business &amp; grow business.</li><li>
Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring service quality.</li><li>
Problem Solving: Quickly resolve operational issues and manage risks.</li><li>
Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners</li><li>
Team Leadership: Manage and support the operations team to meet performance standards.</li><li>
Cost Control: Monitor and optimize budget, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.</li><li>
Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and customs reqpuirements.</li><li>
Billing Management: Ensure accurate and timely billing in alignment with company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).</li><li>
RFQ filing: Update the monthly/weekly rate sheet for customers to support the overseas in gaining new orders.</li></ul>

Other Skills We Hope to See:</b></div><ul><li>
6-8 Years Freight Forwarding experience</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree is mandatory, a Master&rsquo;s in Business Administration/Internation Business/Logistics preferred</li><li>
Should have expertise in air freight operations, Regulations, cost management, and market analysis, Developed strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.</li><li>
Ability to analyze numerical data and understand components, relationships, find patterns and draw conclusions.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of CargoWise preferred</li><li>
Basic knowledge of freight movement, air vendors, air space configurations, container loads, special loading constraints, regulatory requirements, pricing, service routings, AIT product offerings, equipment types, incoterms, and shipment profitability.</li><li>
Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.</li><li>
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal and written requests/directions.</li><li>
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of people can effectively present information in one-on-one settings.</li><li>
Time management is extremely important to meet customer deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment</li></ul>
