Math Instructor (Algebra / Geometry / Algebra II, AP Preferred)Qualifications<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree preferred; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related STEM field also accepted</li><li>Prior teaching or tutoring experience with middle school and high school math students</li><li>Strong ability to teach Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II; ability to teach AP-level math courses is a plus</li><li>Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred but not required</li><li>Strong content knowledge, clear logical thinking, and well-structured lesson delivery</li><li>Positive attitude, professional work ethic, and reliable attendance</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare lesson plans in advance based on the assigned curriculum and individual student needs</li><li>Teach assigned math courses (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II; AP courses if qualified) in 1:1 or small-group settings</li><li>Develop personalized learning plans and adjust instruction according to student progress</li><li>Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to support student achievement</li><li>Provide timely written lesson feedback and progress updates after each session</li><li>Monitor student performance regularly and communicate effectively with students, parents, and the academic team</li><li>Maintain accurate lesson records and teaching documentation</li><li>Create a supportive, engaging, and well-managed learning environment</li><li>Collaborate with the academic team on curriculum planning and instructional improvement</li><li>Participate in training, curriculum development, and teaching research to enhance instructional quality</li><li>Assist with online lesson delivery and occasional demo lesson recordings</li><li>Support department initiatives and other teaching-related tasks as needed</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $33.00 - $50.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Mandarin (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
