<div>Clinical Instructor &ndash; College of Dentistry 
College of Dentistry at Ajman University is looking to hire a Clinical Instructor to join the team starting from Spring 2025-2026.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
&bull; Provides support to the faculty to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment;
 
&bull; Assists the faculty in planning, preparation and implementation of daily teaching /learning activities;
 
&bull; Assists the faculty in planning, preparing, and developing various teaching aids for use in the classroom;
 
&bull; Plans, prepares, and develops various teaching aids for use in classroom, including activity sheets, drawings, and similar handouts;
 
&bull; Presents subject matter to students, under the guidance of a faculty member, utilizing a variety of methods including discussions and role-playing;
 
&bull; Assists students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts;
 
&bull; Help students and researchers in the college in conducting experiments, research, and projects;
 
&bull; Assist faculty in activities related to student advising;
 
&bull; May participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation;
 
&bull; Participate within Community Engagement services;
 
&bull; Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE: 
 
&bull; A holder of Master Degree in the related field from a reputed University with a minimum of 2-3 years&rsquo; experience.
 
&bull; Teaching experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
 
&bull; Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, adequate English proficiency, and ability to use software packages and engage with the latest learning/teaching tools.
 
&bull; Holding an active practice license in UAE (MOHAP/DHA/ DOH).

Clinical Instructor

<div>Job Title: Clinical Pharmacy Instructor (Academic Support)
College: College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences 
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION: 
The Clinical Pharmacy Instructor provides academic, clinical, and experiential training support to pharmacy students across classroom, laboratory, and healthcare practice settings. This role includes supervising students during clinical training placements, delivering laboratory sessions and tutorials within the College, and reinforcing theoretical knowledge through structured practical application. The instructor ensures students develop clinical and professional competencies in alignment with accreditation standards, institutional policies, and patient safety requirements. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul><li>Supervises pharmacy students during clinical training placements in hospitals, clinics, and community pharmacy settings.
</li><li>Conducts and supports laboratory sessions, skills labs, and tutorial classes within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
</li><li>Provides instruction and guidance on clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacotherapy, patient counselling, pharmaceutical care, and professional decision-making.
</li><li>Supports students in applying theoretical knowledge during laboratory exercises, case-based tutorials, simulations, and real patient-care settings under supervision.
</li><li>Collaborates with course coordinators, faculty members, preceptors, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective integration of academic and clinical training.
</li><li>Prepares laboratory materials, training plans, tutorial content, learning objectives, and required documentation for both on-campus and off-campus training activities.
</li><li>Monitors student attendance, performance, and professional conduct during laboratory sessions, tutorials, and clinical rotations.
</li><li>Assesses student performance in laboratories, tutorials, and clinical training, provides constructive feedback, and supports remediation plans when required.
</li><li>Ensures that all teaching, laboratory, and training activities comply with university policies, accreditation standards, laboratory safety regulations, healthcare protocols, and patient safety requirements.
</li><li>Supports assessments including practical exams, OSCEs, case presentations, and experiential evaluations.
</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. 
</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE: 
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or PharmD).
</li><li>A Master&rsquo;s degree in Clinical Pharmacy or a pharmacy-related discipline is preferred.
</li><li>3 to 5 years&rsquo; experience in hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, or healthcare practice is required.
</li><li>Experience in clinical teaching, laboratory instruction, tutorial facilitation, or training supervision is preferred. 
</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS: 
<ul><li>In-depth knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacotherapy, and patient-centred care.
</li><li>Strong understanding of healthcare protocols, patient safety standards, laboratory safety requirements, and professional pharmacy practice guidelines.
</li><li>Ability to provide effective clinical supervision and academic support in laboratories, tutorials, and clinical settings.
</li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
</li><li>Ability to manage schedules, student records, and assessment data using MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel).
</li><li>Proficiency in using Audio-Visual equipment, learning management systems, and student information systems. 
</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONS: 
<ul><li>Work is performed in classrooms, laboratories, skills labs, hospitals, clinics, and community pharmacy training sites.
</li><li>May require standing for extended periods during laboratory sessions and clinical supervision.

This role focuses on achieving excellence in teaching, research, and service while evaluating student progress, managing instructional resources, and supporting accreditation initiatives. The position commences in the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year and contributes to the University's mission by fostering academic growth, innovation, and community engagement. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Develops and delivers high-quality, student-focused courses including Biomechanics and Kinesiology, Therapeutic Modalities, Therapeutic Exercise, Physical Therapy for MSK Conditions I and Orthotics, ensuring alignment with the University&rsquo;s core pillars of Teaching, Research, and Community Service.
</li><li>Assesses student performance, provides constructive feedback, and mentors students to foster academic and professional growth.
</li><li>Research, curates, and manages educational resources, course syllabi, and professional networks to enhance learning outcomes.
</li><li>Identifies and implements innovative teaching methods, tools, and resources to optimize course delivery and student engagement.
