We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our on-site development team in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad. In this role, you will ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our platform, which is powered by Django (backend) and React/Next.js (frontend). Your contributions will directly impact the user experience for thousands of students worldwide by maintaining a smooth, secure, and reliable system.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.</li><li>Validate and verify user-facing features built with React.js and Next.js.</li><li>Conduct backend and API testing for Django REST APIs.</li><li>Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or Trello.</li><li>Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.</li><li>Perform regression, smoke, performance, and cross-browser testing.</li><li>Maintain test environments and ensure quality checkpoints in CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Detect and report edge cases and usability issues proactively.</li><li>Contribute to QA documentation, process improvements, and testing best practices.</li></ul>*RequirementsMust-Have:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in software testing or QA.</li><li>Solid understanding of frontend frameworks (React.js/Next.js) and RESTful APIs.</li><li>Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).</li><li>Familiarity with Python-based backends, preferably Django.</li><li>Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).</li><li>Experience using Git-based workflows and CI/CD tools.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.</li></ul>Nice-to-Have:<ul><li>Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).</li><li>Understanding of authentication flow testing and third-party integrations.</li><li>Familiarity with test coverage reporting tools (e.g., Jest, Pytest-cov).</li><li>Exposure to educational technology or e-commerce platforms is a plus</li></ul>Address: 1st Floor, Above Askari Bank Tulip Service Road Main GT Road DHA Phase II IslamabadContact No: 0333-0217312Email Address: hr@eduapply.comJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
