Collaborate with others to build the best solutions for customers
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will perform system analysis and troubleshoot issues. You'll assess performance and capacity of our platform, and make improvement recommendations. Help shape the direction of our products and services and how we deploy our network.
As a Site Reliability Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:
<ul><li>Testing efficiencies and fragilities, write software or infrastructure fixes. (Require fluency in both software code and IaC).
</li><li>Designing and working with Engineering or the SRE team to build automation or provide self-service tools
</li><li>Using data analysis, network diagnostics and debugging to characterize performance and capacity of large-scale distributed systems.
</li><li>Designing, managing and tracking of Akamai's platform related KPIs to identify trends and changes to improve performance
</li><li>.Investigating proactively and analyzing platform performance to identify opportunities to maintain and enhance our advantage.
</li><li>Collaborating with internal teams to help trouble-shoot and resolve escalations and incidents for our customers.

To be successful in this role you will:
<ul><li>Have relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
</li><li>Demonstrate experience in developing solutions Python, bash, or other languages
</li><li>Demonstrate experience in internet protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TCP
</li><li>Have experience working with and analyzing complex systems in Linux, VM, and Kubernetes production environments.
</li><li>Show excellent communication skills and articulate technical information in a clear and easy to understand manner.
</li><li>Able to manage priorities and multiple tasks. Be a self-starter, and have a drive to improve results

Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Join our API Security Sales Team!
As an API Security Specialist you will be responsible for selling the Noname Security solution. Noname was acquired by Akamai in 2025. Collaborating with our enterprise sales, internal teams and our external Channel Partners is key for our Go-to-Market.
About the Team
Known internally as API Security Specialists you will need to be able to work independently on New Customer Acquisition as well as part of an Akamai Account Team when selling to existing Akamai customers. The passion and subject matter expertise for the API market is the main factor linked to the teams success.
As a Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for:
<ul><li>Working with Akamai MAE's to build and close a solid pipeline within Existing Accounts.
</li><li>Working with Channel, SDR and Marketing to build and close a solid pipeline in New Accounts.
</li><li>Being a leader and subject matter expert in driving the API Security agenda internally and externally.
</li></ul>Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
<ul><li>Have knowledge in API Security and the surrounding technology areas.
</li><li>Have experience within a matrixed organization.
</li><li>Have direct sales experience and be able to demonstrate C level access and engagement.
</li><li>Able to work with our Channel Partners and continue successful collaboration.
</li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
</li><li>Be fluent in Arabic and English.
