Role Summary:</b></div><div>
The Curriculum Content Writer will be responsible for developing engaging, accurate, and effective educational content in the Assamese language across multiple subjects. The role requires strong language expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of the learning needs of Assamese-speaking students. Working closely with educators and subject matter experts, the Curriculum Content Writer will ensure that all materials align with state educational standards and foster meaningful learning outcomes.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Develop high-quality curriculum content in the required language, including lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and multimedia resources.</li><li>
Create activity-based, interactive, and child-centered learning content aligned with NEP and Akshar&rsquo;s goals.</li><li>
Design assessment tools, worksheets, and practice exercises.</li><li>
Write original, easy-to-understand educational content across subjects (English, Math, Science, etc.).</li><li>
Work closely with academic experts to review and refine content for accuracy and relevance.</li><li>
Adapt and localize content to meet the specific learning needs of Assamese-speaking students.</li><li>
Ensure content is age-appropriate, inclusive, and aligned with child protection and safeguarding standards.</li><li>
Incorporate feedback from teachers, trainers, and program teams to improve curriculum materials.</li><li>
Review, edit, and update existing curriculum resources for improved clarity, engagement, and effectiveness.</li><li>
Ensure all content adheres to State Board standards and guidelines.</li><li>
Contribute to the development of digital and interactive learning resources.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications &amp; Skills:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s/Master&rsquo;s degree in any discipline.</li><li>
Minimum experience in curriculum design, content writing, or educational publishing.</li><li>
Ability to design learner-centric, engaging, and inclusive educational content.</li><li>
Strong writing and editing skills in Assamese, with ability to simplify complex concepts.</li><li>
Familiarity with NEP 2020, NCERT frameworks, and experiential learning methodologies.</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace; knowledge of digital content creation tools is an advantage.</li><li>
Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of child-centric pedagogy.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Curriculum Content Writer - Assamese

The Job description for the role is as follows:</div><div>
As the Schools Coordinator for Akshar, you would be responsible for implementing the Akshar Education Model in the Government Schools of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh-</div><ul><li>Build and maintain good relations with the school head and the Government teachers and staff.</li><li>Train and support government teachers to use the Akshar toolkit and resources.</li><li>Work with the school head to understand requirements and plan the activities in the School for the implementation of the Akshar Program.</li><li>Coordinate and implement the Akshar Education Model in the schools of Varanasi, UP.</li><li>Coordinate and supervise a team of 2-3 Schools Assistants.</li><li>Coordinate the Vocational training activities in the schools.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
Required:</div><ul><li>Reading, writing and speaking proficiency of English</li><li>Reading, writing and speaking proficiency of Hindi.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
Experience:</div><ul><li>At Least 2 - 3 years work experience and at least 1 year of working in a full time in a school/teaching in a school/educational program/NGO.</li><li>Post graduation in education/management/social sciences. (Good to have)</li><li>Good to have a leadership/team management experience in any professional capacity.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Teacher training experience (Good to have)</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
