<div>The Clinical Applications Manager, MR is responsible for the MRI clinical activities at Akumin fixed sites. The CAM will work with various teams across Akumin to develop QA/QC programs, MRSO programs, optimize scanner protocols, drive better image quality, communicate with radiologists, educate technologists, and a focus on driving revenues in MRI. The focus of this role is to improve the exams performed on our MRI units in our fixed division. Our unique ability to remote into many of our units will allow remote work. Sites not connected or certain programs will require travel with in person visits.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Standardizing and optimization of MR scanners at fixed locations.<ul><li>
In person site visits or remote access to sites.</li><li>
Teaches hands on applications training for technologists.</li></ul>
Manage use of Subtle AI across fixed locations.<ul><li>
Partner with Subtle applications to team to ensure higher productivity.</li><li>
Work with local site administrators to drive higher productivity.</li></ul>
Assist in adoption of new procedures at fixed locations<ul><li>
In person visits or remote access to sites</li></ul>
Collaborate with physicians to drive standardization of protocols at fixed locations
Collaborate with various teams to drive quality and expertise.<ul><li>
Provides guidance on MR Safety and QA/QC.</li><li>
Provides technical assistance to sales and marketing.</li><li>
Conducts Centers of Excellence training seminars.</li><li>
Creates learning modules for technologists.</li></ul>
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:<ul><li>
Certificate from College or Technical School.</li><li>
ARRT (R)(MR)</li><li>
Expert understanding of multi-vendor fleet capabilities (Philips, GE, Siemens).</li><li>
Expert in protocol optimization for varied MRI systems from various vendors and ages.</li><li>
Deep understanding of MRI physics principles and pulse sequence optimization.</li><li>
Ability to identify image artifacts, change parameters, change pulse sequences, and repeat the series without the image artifacts.</li><li>
At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.</li><li>
Requires experience in working with technologists, radiologists, and administrators to drive efficiency and productivity in MRI.</li><li>
Requires ability to set up and train technologists on new procedures like whole-body imaging, Mp-prostate, breast, and DTI.</li><li>
Requires an understanding of MRI safety and policies related to safety in MRI.</li><li>
Strong experience in delivering live, virtual, and blended learning for technologists.</li><li>
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to articulate learning objectives that are focused, concise, and measurable.</li><li>
40-50% Travel may be required.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>
MRSO and/or willing to acquire MRSO certification</li><li>
20 years of professional experience in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging</li><li>
10 years of clinical applications experience at leading vendors</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:
Standard office environment. May be exposed to a strong magnetic field and environmental hazards such as exposure to noise, and travel.

Clinical Applications Manager, MR

<div>The Account Executive is responsible for increasing order and scan volume across all modalities from referring providers in their assigned geographic territory to ensure that the territory will exceed its budgeted same-store-growth, scan volume, and revenue commitments. This will include analyzing physician referral patterns to develop customer-level marketing plans, identifying opportunities to increase scan volume with existing referrers, and/or developing new referral channels. Responsible for managing assigned expense budget.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Cultivates strong relationships with top strategic referrers to maintain and/or increase order and scan volume; identifies key customer drivers (turnaround time, quality, etc.); ensures that customer&rsquo;s needs are met and communicates any service deficiencies to the Operations Team to ensure existing scan volume is preserved.</li><li>
Prospects and targets new referrers based on market trends and conditions; uses consultative selling skills to engage new referrers and probes potential referrer to uncover competitive takeaways based on unmet needs.</li><li>
Analyzes marketed account referral patterns in order to strategically plan time in the field and associated actions plans to drive referrals; monitors variances/trends associated with existing referral base, works with operations and management to determine possible causes for changes in referral patterns.</li><li>
Works in conjunction with territory Physician Sales and Operations 
leadership to establish realistic customer and territory plans that will deliver on the territory&rsquo;s budgeted same-store-growth, scan volume, target and revenue commitments.</li><li>
Identifies specific risks to the referral base and implements targeted community outreach programs such as territory-level educational campaigns, health fairs and other events to promote consumer awareness.</li><li>
Participates in operational meetings in assigned territory, providing status updates as well as identifying areas for Physician Sales to engage strategically with larger team. May participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with key strategic accounts.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>
Position Requirements:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience, required.</li><li>
Displays strong business acumen and demonstrates an understanding of the sales and physician space including the reimbursement landscape.</li><li>
Proven ability to successfully execute a territory development plan.</li><li>
A proven track record of success in competitive selling environment is required</li><li>
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.</li><li>
90-95% travel may be required.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience</li><li>
2 years of physician sales and marketing experience in a healthcare environment.</li><li>
Prior Imaging and/or Oncology experience.</li></ul>
