Key Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Preparing detailed structural drawings including layouts, sections, and elevations for concrete elements such as slabs, beams, columns, footings, and walls.</li><li>Producing reinforcement (rebar) drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS), ensuring full compliance with applicable codes and project specifications.</li><li>Developing and updating General Arrangement (GA) drawings for reinforced concrete structures.</li><li>Coordinating with structural engineers to interpret design requirements and apply necessary modifications.</li><li>Ensuring dimensional accuracy and clarity to prevent construction discrepancies.</li><li>Maintaining high standards in rebar detailing, including accurate specifications of size, type, spacing, and placement.</li><li>Adhering to project timelines while maintaining drawing quality and consistency.</li><li>Liaising with site teams and contractors to clarify drawing content and resolve construction issues.</li><li>Revising drawings based on design updates or site-related feedback.</li><li>Maintaining organized drawing logs and ensuring proper version control.</li><li>Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation and reports as needed.</li></ul>Key Skills Required:<ul><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools (e.g., ASD, Revit, Tekla Structures, or equivalent BIM platforms).</li><li>Strong knowledge of concrete structures and reinforcement detailing standards.</li><li>Familiarity with BBS preparation and codes such as BS 8666 and ACI 315.</li><li>Ability to accurately interpret architectural and structural design documents.</li><li>Effective communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in reinforcement detailing.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>7 to 10 years of experience in structural drafting, with a focus on concrete detailing.</li><li>Previous experience on medium to large-scale projects (commercial, residential, or infrastructure).</li></ul>Submit your resume to: Cheryl.Dsouza@alaali-int.com , hr@alaali-int.comKindly also request that a portfolio showcasing relevant previous work be shared for our review.Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>
