 We are looking for an experienced Senior Freight Operations Officer to lead and oversee the daily operations of our freight forwarding business in Qatar.
 
 
 This is a senior, hands-on role where you&rsquo;ll play a key part in driving operational excellence across air, sea, and land freight, while ensuring compliance with Qatari, GCC, and international trade regulations.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage full-cycle shipment operations: booking, documentation, customs clearance, and cargo tracking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare competitive quotations and negotiate rates with airlines, shipping lines, and trucking partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with customs, and global supply chain practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee commercial invoices, billing, and financial documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build strong vendor and stakeholder relationships across the logistics ecosystem.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and guide operational staff, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5+ years of proven experience in freight forwarding (air, sea, and land).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Qatari &amp; GCC customs clearance procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in freight management systems and ERP tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
 </li>
 <li>
 Driving License is an advantage.
 </li>
