Key Responsibilities1. Hospital Operations Management<ul><li>Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure seamless functioning across all departments.</li><li>Monitor patient flow, bed management, outpatient and inpatient services to optimize efficiency.</li><li>Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.</li><li>Ensure operational readiness of hospital facilities at all times.</li></ul>⸻2. Departmental Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with clinical heads, nursing leadership, and support services (HR, Finance, IT, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Security).</li><li>Facilitate interdepartmental communication to resolve operational issues.</li><li>Support department managers in operational planning and execution.</li></ul>⸻3. Policy Implementation &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure hospital operations comply with:</li><li>Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regulations</li><li>Accreditation standards (e.g., Accreditation Canada / JCI)</li><li>Internal hospital policies and SOPs</li><li>Assist in audits, inspections, and accreditation surveys.</li><li>Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.</li></ul>⸻4. Resource &amp; Capacity Management<ul><li>Oversee efficient utilization of hospital resources including manpower, equipment, and facilities.</li><li>Monitor staffing levels in coordination with HR and Nursing Administration.</li><li>Support workforce planning and operational budgeting.</li></ul>⸻5. Quality &amp; Patient Experience<ul><li>Collaborate with Quality and Patient Experience teams to improve service delivery.</li><li>Monitor patient complaints, feedback, and service indicators.</li><li>Ensure timely resolution of operational-related patient issues.</li><li>Support initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.</li></ul>⸻6. Financial &amp; Cost Control Support<ul><li>Assist in monitoring operational costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Ensure operational practices align with approved budgets.</li><li>Support procurement planning and vendor coordination.</li></ul>⸻7. Emergency &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Participate in emergency preparedness, disaster management, and evacuation planning.</li><li>Ensure departments are compliant with safety, infection control, and risk management protocols.</li><li>Act as an escalation point during operational incidents or crises.</li></ul>⸻8. Reporting &amp; Performance Monitoring<ul><li>Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards for senior management.</li><li>Track operational efficiency metrics and recommend improvements.</li><li>Support strategic planning and operational projects.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
