Job Description:As a Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing cost estimations and engineering solutions for various projects in our oil and gas division. With a focus on greenfield and brownfield developments, you will leverage your expertise to drive project efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.Key Responsibilities:&#61623; Develop detailed mechanical cost estimates for oil and gas projects, including greenfield and brownfield developments, Plant turnaround , Tank Rehabilitation and various others.&#61623; Analyze project specifications and design drawings to determine scope requirements.&#61623; Prepare and present detailed cost analyses and budget proposals to stakeholders.&#61623; Evaluate project timelines, material costs, and labor requirements.&#61623; Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to optimize cost solutions.&#61623; Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies to minimize project overruns.&#61623; Provide technical guidance on plant maintenance, heat exchanger management, and catalyst replacement.&#61623; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.&#61623; Assist in the development and improvement of estimation tools and processes.&#61623; Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on engineering modifications and improvements.&#61623; Support the procurement process by providing insight on vendor selection and equipment specifications.Qualifications:&#61623; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.&#61623; Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical estimation within the oil and gas industry.&#61623; Proven expertise in greenfield and brownfield project estimation, plant maintenance, heat exchanger, and catalyst replacement.&#61623; Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles. &#61623; Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office .&#61623; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.&#61623; Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.&#61623; Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.&#61623; Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector.Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR1.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Al-Khawr: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>

Sr. Mechanical Estimation Engineer

Job responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure all work in the area is conducted under valid and approved permits (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, etc.).</li><li>Verify that job-specific risk assessments (JSA, HAZID, HAZOP) are completed and understood by workers.</li><li>Monitor and control the activation and closure of permits.</li><li>Maintain a log of all active permits in the area.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of the worksite to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.</li><li>Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices.</li><li>Intervene in unsafe practices and report safety violations or incidents.</li><li>Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of permits issued, work completed, and safety inspections.</li><li>Report near misses, incidents, and non-conformances.</li><li>Ensure documentation complies with internal procedures and regulatory standards.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Knowledge of oil and gas operations (upstream/downstream depending on location).</li><li>Familiarity with PTW systems and Control of Work procedures.</li><li>Understanding of HSE standards and practices.
