As part of our expansion in Oman, we are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage branch-level financial operations while coordinating with our UAE head office.Role OverviewThe Accountant will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting activities for the Oman branch, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth financial coordination with the Finance Manager in UAE.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage full-cycle accounting activities including:</li><li>Accounts Payable (AP)</li><li>Accounts Receivable (AR)</li><li>General Ledger (GL)</li><li>Bank Reconciliations</li><li>Maintain daily accounting entries and ensure timely reporting to UAE head office</li><li>Prepare monthly financial reports and submit to Finance Manager (UAE)</li><li>Monitor cash flow, expenses, and branch-level budgeting</li><li>Ensure compliance with Oman VAT regulations and assist in VAT filing</li><li>Track receivables and support credit control activities</li><li>Assist with audits, internal reporting, and financial analysis</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and accounting records</li><li>Coordinate with sales, operations, and procurement teams for smooth financial workflow</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com mandatory)</li><li>3&ndash;4 years of hands-on accounting experience (preferably in trading or project-based companies)</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT compliance (Oman/UAE preferred)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Odoo ERP experience is a strong advantage)</li><li>Good understanding of receivables management and credit control</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li><li>High level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines</li></ul>Reporting Structure<ul><li>Reports directly to Finance Manager &ndash; UAE</li><li>Works closely with Oman branch operations and sales team</li></ul>Job TypeFull-timePay: RO200.000 - RO300.000 per monthWork Location: In person
