 Job Summary:
 
 
 
 The Storekeeper &ndash; FMCG is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires familiarity with inventory systems, attention to detail, and physical ability to handle stock, especially within cold storage or dry warehouse settings.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue materials to production or retail floor as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate stock records, data entry, and inventory system updates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor stock rotation based on FIFO/FEFO principles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct daily and periodic inventory counts and participate in audits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle damaged or expired goods in compliance with company policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and record temperature for cold and freezer storage areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and other internal departments.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Required Experience &amp; Skills:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Previous experience as a Storekeeper in FMCG or a similar warehousing environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with dry, cold store, or freezer area operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) and barcode scanners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of warehouse documentation and inventory reconciliation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform physical work such as lifting and organizing goods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Competency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of warehouse safety and hygiene protocols.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Work Conditions:

 Willingness to work night or rotational shifts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability to work in cold or freezer environments.
 </li>

 Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed
