Job Title: Site EngineerLocation: Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full-timeJob Description:We are hiring an experienced and proactive Site Engineer to manage multiple construction sites, ensure quality and timely execution, and maintain effective coordination with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams. The role involves attending authority inspections, handling material selections, protecting the company&rsquo;s interests in all communications, and providing accurate reporting on project progress.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Project Oversight &amp; Execution</li><li>Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and timelines</li><li>Conduct frequent site visits according to an approved coverage plan to manage all assigned sites efficiently</li><li>Resolve on-site technical issues promptly and approve shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and enforce site safety protocols to achieve zero accidents</li><li>Coordination &amp; Stakeholder Management</li><li>Represent the company professionally in meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities</li><li>Protect the company&rsquo;s interests and uphold its reputation during negotiations and site discussions</li><li>Maintain knowledge of subcontractors&rsquo; capabilities and performance for better resource allocation</li><li>Material &amp; Cost Management</li><li>Possess strong knowledge of material types, specifications, and price ranges</li><li>Track material deliveries, assist in procurement planning, and monitor project variations to control costs</li><li>Follow up on site-related payments to ensure smooth financial flow</li><li>Planning &amp; Reporting</li><li>Maintain an updated project timeline and manage resources to meet deadlines</li><li>Prepare periodic, clear progress reports for clients and internal management</li><li>Document and organize all project-related emails, approvals, and communications for efficient reference</li><li>Authority Coordination</li><li>Attend Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), or other authority inspections as required</li><li>Ensure compliance with all local regulations and project-specific permit conditions</li></ul>Required Qualifications (Must-Have):<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering</li><li>Minimum 8 years of site inspection and supervision experience, with at least 5 years in Dubai</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings</li><li>Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Valid UAE Driving License</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications (Added Value):<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering</li><li>Proven experience in tender management and preparation (eligible for higher salary)</li><li>Knowledge of DM/DDA permit processes</li><li>Experience preparing and resolving non-conformance reports (NCRs)</li></ul>Required Software Proficiency:<ul><li>AutoCAD &ndash; for reviewing and annotating construction drawings</li><li>Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) &ndash; for documentation, reporting, and coordination</li></ul>Optional Software Proficiency (Bonus):<ul><li>Revit &ndash; for BIM-based coordination and design understanding</li><li>Primavera or Microsoft Project &ndash; for scheduling and resource management</li><li>ETABS &ndash; considered if candidate has structural design experience</li><li>Site snagging tools (e.g., PlanRadar, ArchiSnapper)</li></ul>Salary &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Monthly Salary: AED 8,000 (higher for candidates with proven tender management expertise)</li><li>Transportation:</li><li>Company car or car allowance of AED 1,500/month</li><li>Petrol costs covered upon accurate reporting</li><li>Annual Leave: 30 calendar days per year</li><li>End of Service Benefits: As per UAE Labour Law</li></ul>Interview ProcessThe selection process consists of four stages:<ul><li>Zoom Interview &ndash; Evaluate technical expertise and relevant project experience</li><li>Practical Technical Examination &ndash; Assess applied engineering and problem-solving skills</li><li>Phone Interview &ndash; Confirm duties, benefits, and expected responsibilities</li><li>In-Person Interview &ndash; Final discussion to evaluate soft skills and sign company policies</li></ul>About Al&#8239;Mujassam Architects &amp; EngineersEstablished in 1977, Al&#8239;Mujassam Architects &amp; Engineers is a Dubai-based consultancy offering integrated architectural, engineering, and project management services.
