The Senior Mechanical Engineer &ndash; Design &amp; Production Planning will be responsible for reviewing customer enquiries, preparing manufacturing plans, supporting engineering design activities, coordinating production, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and delivered on schedule. The role requires a strong understanding of CNC machining, fabrication, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and production planning.The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and coordinate with procurement, stores, quality, sales, and production departments to ensure smooth execution of projects. While the primary responsibility is engineering and production planning, the candidate should also be capable of preparing or reviewing engineering drawings whenever required.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering &amp; Design<ul><li>Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.</li><li>Prepare and review manufacturing drawings, fabrication drawings, machining drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required.</li><li>Support design modifications to improve manufacturability and production efficiency.</li><li>Assist in reverse engineering and product development projects.</li><li>Ensure engineering documentation is accurate and up to date.</li></ul>Production Planning<ul><li>Prepare manufacturing process plans and job routings.</li><li>Plan and schedule production activities based on delivery priorities.</li><li>Prepare work orders and production documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow.</li><li>Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and assist in meeting delivery schedules.</li><li>Support the Production &amp; Engineering Manager in optimizing machine utilization and production efficiency.</li></ul>Estimation &amp; Technical Support<ul><li>Review customer enquiries and RFQs.</li><li>Assist in preparing machining, fabrication, and material cost estimations.</li><li>Calculate machining hours, fabrication hours, material requirements, and Bills of Materials.</li><li>Support quotation preparation and technical clarifications.</li><li>Recommend suitable manufacturing methods and process improvements.</li></ul>Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with Procurement regarding material requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with Stores regarding material availability.</li><li>Coordinate with Quality for inspection requirements.</li><li>Liaise with customers on technical queries when required.</li><li>Support production teams in resolving engineering and manufacturing issues.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication, and industrial manufacturing processes.</li><li>Experience in production planning and manufacturing process planning.</li><li>Good understanding of machining and fabrication cost estimation.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD.</li><li>Working knowledge of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or other equivalent 3D CAD software.</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>UAE/GCC manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.</li></ul>Preferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following industries will be an advantage:<ul><li>Precision Engineering</li><li>CNC Machining</li><li>Heavy Fabrication</li><li>Oil &amp; Gas</li><li>Marine</li><li>Hydraulic Equipment</li></ul>Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person

Senior Engineer – Production Planning & Design

The Senior Engineer &ndash; Estimation &amp; Production Planning will be responsible for reviewing customer enquiries, preparing accurate cost estimations, planning manufacturing processes, coordinating production activities, and supporting the successful execution of projects. Senior Engineer – Estimation & Production Planning

The ProductionManager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of all manufacturing and engineering activities within the factory. The successful candidate will oversee CNC machining, fabrication, laser cutting, assembly, production planning, engineering design, estimation, quality control, dispatch, and customer coordination while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget, and on schedule.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction &amp; Operations<ul><li>Plan, organize and oversee daily production activities.</li><li>Manage CNC machining, fabrication, laser cutting, assembly and conventional machining operations.</li><li>Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of projects.</li><li>Allocate jobs and resources efficiently to maximize productivity.</li><li>Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and resolve production bottlenecks.</li><li>Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery and materials.</li><li>Supervise all production engineers, draftsmen, supervisors, operators and shop floor personnel.</li></ul>Engineering &amp; Design<ul><li>Prepare and review 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.</li><li>Prepare fabrication drawings, machining drawings, assembly drawings and detailed manufacturing documentation.</li><li>Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing process plans.</li><li>Review customer drawings and determine suitable manufacturing methods.</li><li>Support reverse engineering and product development activities.</li></ul>Estimation &amp; Costing<ul><li>Prepare and review machining and fabrication cost estimations.</li><li>Calculate machining time, fabrication hours, material requirements and manufacturing costs.</li><li>Review quotations before submission to customers.</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.</li></ul>Project &amp; Customer Management<ul><li>Coordinate directly with customers on technical requirements and project updates.</li><li>Resolve technical and production-related customer issues.</li><li>Ensure customer specifications and quality requirements are achieved.</li><li>Coordinate project execution from order confirmation through final delivery.</li></ul>Quality, Inspection &amp; Dispatch<ul><li>Monitor production quality throughout the manufacturing process.</li><li>Conduct final inspections before dispatch.</li><li>Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch of finished products.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Leadership<ul><li>Coordinate closely with Procurement, Stores, Quality, Sales and Accounts departments.</li><li>Lead, mentor and develop engineering and production personnel.</li><li>Establish production priorities and monitor departmental performance.</li><li>Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best manufacturing practices.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Minimum 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.</li><li>Strong experience in CNC machining, heavy fabrication and industrial manufacturing.</li><li>Excellent understanding of machining processes, fabrication methods and engineering drawings.</li><li>Experience in production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of machining and fabrication cost estimation.</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or other equivalent 3D CAD software.</li><li>Ability to prepare and review 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>UAE/GCC manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.</li></ul>Preferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following industries will be an advantage:<ul><li>Oil &amp; Gas</li><li>Cement Plants</li><li>Mining</li><li>Marine</li><li>Industrial Machinery</li><li>Hydraulic Equipment</li><li>Precast Concrete Machinery</li><li>Steel Fabrication</li><li>Reverse Engineering</li></ul>Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
