We are a construction company in Qatar seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee the company&rsquo;s financial health, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the management team with financial insights to drive business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management:<ul><li>Maintain and manage the company&rsquo;s accounting records and books.</li><li>Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.</li></ul>Accounts Payable/Receivable:<ul><li>Manage supplier payments and reconcile invoices.</li><li>Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely payments.</li></ul>Financial Reporting:<ul><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.</li></ul>Taxation and Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure timely and accurate tax filings</li><li>Comply with local financial regulations and audits.</li></ul>Cash Flow Management:<ul><li>Monitor cash flow and prepare liquidity reports.</li><li>Manage banking activities and reconciliations.</li></ul>Cost Control:<ul><li>Evaluate costs related to procurement and operations.</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost optimization.</li></ul>Software Management:<ul><li>Use accounting software to streamline processes.</li><li>Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in data entry.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software</li><li>Strong knowledge of Qatar&rsquo;s tax regulations and compliance requirements.</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
