 Main duties
 
 
 
 
 
 <ol>
 <li>
 Prepare the physical environment of the classroom for all lessons
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure and maintain the implementation of routines and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Present in all classes except Quran , Ruya , IT &amp; PE periods
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with the display of class or subject materials, including those of students' work
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with individuals and groups of students as arranged by the class/ subject teachers
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide help for below level students during classes (as directed by their teachers)
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with creating teacher made resources ( just grade 1 &amp; 2 )
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with creating and managing extra school activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Substitute for the subject teacher in the event of his/ her absence or elsewhere according to HOD or admin plan.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend all development workshops &amp; admin meetings
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that students meet the expectation of the school in term of behavior and discipline. Prepare stuff &amp; apply her class motivational techniques and implement consequences with the class teachers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track students' attendance according to school regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Contact parents with the teacher to check , inform and discuss their kids behavioral and absence issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep detailed records / anecdotal note.
 </li>
 <li>
 Distribute and collect administration's letters and money
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise students according to individual duty outlined in duty schedule
 </li>
 <li>
 Cary out such duties as may be assigned by principal , deputies , or HODs ( during substitutions )
 </li>

 Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus
 </li>

 To effectively implement the school academic curriculum and Al-Ru&rsquo;ya Pastoral Program through the work undertaken in and out of class to best meets the needs of the individual learners.
 </li>
 <li>
 To maintain their classrooms as warm and inviting learning centers using appropriate displays / resources; Store them appropriately, and to ensure that they are kept in good condition.
 </li>
 <li>
 To collaborate, share, and plan effectively with colleagues in a respectful manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 To undertake such supervisory duties and advisory program as may be assigned by at the principal.
 </li>
 <li>
 To be prepared to provide support for other teachers in ways that are indicative of a team approach (i.e. covering classes, sharing supervision of students, interdisciplinary planning, and curriculum development).
 </li>
 <li>
 To communicate respectfully in a timely manner with parents on the performance and progress of their children in accordance with the approved format.
 </li>
 <li>
 To attend meeting and professional development sessions as may be called by administration.
 </li>

 To continuously undertake personal professional development through reading and attendance at workshops and courses.
