 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Enforce all safety and security rules, policies and directives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise the Chief Instructor on all course development and delivery functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise the Chief Instructor on student progress and performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver classroom and workshop training in all Electronics and Armament related subjects for the UAE Army.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design, develop and analyse courses in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and deliver operator&rsquo;s courses and technical evaluations to GMC technicians.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilise coaching and remedial training methods as required to ensure the highest possible graduation rate and test scores.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a primary and alternate instructor for workshop and classroom presentations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Practise time management in all facets of training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all equipment, supplies and computers are accounted for and properly maintained.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop, maintain and continually improve instructional material including lesson plans, handouts and PowerPoint presentations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend conferences, workshops, demonstrations and training/education programs as directed in order to stay abreast of current trends in instructional techniques and training technology.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support other members of the faculty in fulfilling their roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as required by the Chief Instructor and the Director, Technical Training School.

 </ul>
 Experience and Education:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A degree in a relevant subject area is required, a Bachelor&rsquo;s is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Graduate of a recognised school or military training program in combat vehicles is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 A minimum of four years of experience as an instructor in logistics/general subjects is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 A minimum of two years of military experience is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent writing skills with aptitude in preparing studies, briefings or doctrinal literature on a subject matter is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to conduct analysis, and develop performance oriented instruction and lesson plans is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver&rsquo;s license.

 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design, plan, organise, coordinate and supervise all facilities project activities located within the GMC MBO including repairs, upgrades and modifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all facility related repairs, upgrades and modification are in accordance with the project contract.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the requirements of the owner to identify the scope of the project.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the GMC facilities representative for all GMC directed facilities projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with employees for technical engineering, engineering design and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop the Scope of Work (SOW) and coordinate with the AL TAIF Contracts and Procurement Department for estimated costs, proposals and vendor evaluations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor the performance of the work throughout the project to ensure compliance at all times and successful completion of the task.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare weekly and monthly reports relating to facilities projects as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical advice to other departments in matters related to facilities engineering and to maintaining compliance with regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct training for assigned employees as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support other members of the Facilities Department in fulfilling their roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as required by the Manager, Facilities.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Experience and Education:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering required; Master degree preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 A minimum of five to six years of experience in facilities maintenance, with knowledge of engineering principles, theories and practices is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in project management is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and Computer Aided Design (CAD) or AutoCAD is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver&rsquo;s license.The ability to work independently without direct supervision on a day to day basis is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 A good work ethic is required as this position requires the employee to come to work on time every day.
