Position OverviewD&amp;C Alabama Landscape, Inc. is hiring a Landscape Construction Laborer to assist with landscape installation and construction projects throughout the greater Birmingham area.This is a hands-on outdoor position supporting projects such as planting, grading, drainage, and hardscape installation. We are looking for dependable individuals who are ready to work and take pride in quality craftsmanship.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with planting trees, shrubs, and sod installation</li><li>Help with site prep, grading, and bed preparation</li><li>Install mulch and pine straw</li><li>Assist with drainage system installation (French drains, catch basins, etc.)</li><li>Support retaining wall and paver patio installation</li><li>Load/unload materials and maintain job site cleanliness</li><li>Follow crew leader instructions and safety standards</li><li>Care for tools and equipment</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Reliable attendance and strong work ethic</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in Alabama heat and weather</li><li>Willingness to learn construction techniques</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license preferred (not required)</li><li>Landscape or construction experience is a plus</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Opportunity<ul><li>$15&ndash;$18 per hour based on experience</li><li>Opportunity for raises based on performance and skill development</li><li>Year-round work</li><li>Advancement opportunity into Construction Crew Leader role</li></ul>About D&amp;C Alabama Landscape, Inc.We are a growing landscape maintenance and construction company serving the greater Birmingham area.
