<div><div>The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a HVAC Technician III to support Facilities Operations &amp; Maintenance (O&amp;M) our government customer located in NORCO, Califonia.
The candidate is responsible for providing support for the daily maintenance operations of HVAC requirements supporting all systems and government property.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Perform daily operational checks of all HVAC specialty systems and equipment in the entire building.</li><li>
Respond to all HVAC equipment and systems related to troubles and alarms.</li><li>
Completes all preventative and corrective maintenance related work orders in a timely manner.</li><li>
Assists Lead and other technicians servicing and operating all types of residential, commercial, and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, climate-controlled automation systems, energy management control systems and program control systems.</li><li>
Assists Lead and other technicians installing and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical components including chillers, ice machines, compressors, motors, heaters, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, evaporators, condensing units, switches, thermostats etc.</li><li>
Receives and evaluates work orders and requests.</li><li>
Assists the Lead Technician in managing the work of outside contractors to ensure all work meets applicable codes.</li><li>
Assists the Lead Technician and other technical personnel in the identification of materials, parts assemblies, and requirements for a variety of requisitions.</li><li>
Responds to emergency site maintenance as required.</li><li>
Works with minimal supervision with a team of air conditioning, electricians, and maintenance mechanics.</li><li>
Assists Lead and other technicians at performing air balancing.</li><li>
Assists Lead and other technicians in performing tests, repairs, modifies, calculates, operates, maintains, overhauls, and calibrates small to large units.</li><li>
Troubleshoots, install, tests, repairs, modify, relocates, maintains, and calibrates refrigeration equipment, air conditioning equipment, pneumatics controls and auxiliary equipment such as drinking fountains, exhaust fans, supply fans and smoke purge fans etc.</li><li>
Assists Lead and other technicians in interpreting diagrams, drawings, technical manuals, and other instructions for air conditioning equipment, building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and use trade formulas.</li><li>
Assists Lead and other technicians maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of HVAC systems and equipment such as computer room Liebert units, small standalone Heat Pumps and other HVAC equipment.</li><li>
Use tools and equipment to include but not limited to, measuring tapes, grinders, power tools, cutters, pipe wrenches, volt, amp, ohm meters, thermometers, torches, computers, manometers, airflow measuring equipment, vacuum pumps, and various hand tools.</li><li>
Assists the Lead Technician in assuring that work assignments, procedures, sequence, methods, and deadlines are completed on time.</li><li>
Performs entry level troubleshooting and calibrations on all types of AHU controls and components.</li><li>
Must be able to understand and interpret sequences of operations and how they relate to AHU operations and make changes as required.</li><li>
Assists Lead and other technicians inspecting and diagnosing problems to determine necessary corrective repairs.</li><li>
Keeps Lead and other technicians apprised of unique situations and problems encountered.</li><li>
Ensure proper housekeeping practices are strictly observed.</li><li>
Assists other trades as required to accomplish maintenance activities.</li><li>
Complete required monthly safety and equipment training.</li><li>
Assist in performing monthly safety inspections as required.</li><li>
Inspect and maintain all required PPE daily.</li><li>
Respond to and assist in emergency cleanups as necessary.</li><li>
Complete all online training as required.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned by Lead Technician and Facilities Supervisor/Production Controller.</li></ul>
Environmental Factors: Works in indoor and outdoor environments that contain excessive heat, cold and humidity, excessive dampness, electrical energy, dust, fumes, solvents grease, oils, moving machinery with moving parts, moving object or vehicles and slippery or uneven surfaces.
Physical Effort: Works from ground level, ladders, and platforms on equipment and systems where parts are hard-to-reach. Frequently lifts parts and equipment weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally over fifty pounds. Standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing and stretching for prolonged periods will be necessary.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
OSHA 10 certification.</li><li>
Possess and maintain a &ldquo;Universal&rdquo; level or above in CFC refrigerant certification which must be always carried while performing the job.</li></ul>
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Three (3) years&rsquo; experience in the HVAC trade in service and maintenance.</li><li>
Experience with various BAS systems and industrial controls and components.</li><li>
Experience working on HVAC equipment that utilizes VAV boxes, pneumatic and DDC controls.</li><li>
Experience understanding and interpreting sequences of operations for air handling equipment.</li><li>
Excellent troubleshooting skills.</li><li>
Excellent analytical skills.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills.</li><li>
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel.</li><li>
Must be available and able to respond to emergency call-ins when required.</li><li>
Must pass an annual &ldquo;Fit for Duty&rdquo; physical and meet all the necessary medical requirements to wear all types of respirators and perform the physical requirements of the job.</li><li>
Must pass the required respirator fit test and maintain the requirement.</li><li>
Must be physically able to climb all types of ladders, a-frame, vertical, extension etc.</li><li>
Must be physically able to climb up on and maneuver on raised walkways and platforms with limited access.</li><li>
Must be able to work in various types of confined spaces.</li></ul>
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Five (5) years of industrial and commercial experience working within the HVAC trades.</li><li>
Experience working in and around laboratory environments, fume hoods, lab benches etc.</li></ul>
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:<ul><li>
Must be a U.S. Citizen.</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.</li></ul>

HVAC Technician III

This is a partially remote position. Individual will be expected to be onsite once every other week and for periodic meetings.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Provide Trauma or Orthopedic Nurse Analyst / Abstractor Support</li><li>
Review source data from handwritten medical records as well as electronic sources such as MHS Genesis, Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (ALTHA), Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) records, ESSENTRIS, Joint Legacy Viewer (JLV), Patient Movement Records (PMR), Tactical Combat Casualty Cards (TC3), Theater Data Medical Store (TMDS), Web Interface Scanned Patient Records (WISPR) and other source data as provided by the Government and enter same information into the Department of Defense Trauma Registry (DoDTR) and/or the integrated clinical modules of the DoDTR in accordance with government provided business rules</li><li>
Collect comprehensive, accurate data relating to trauma patients by abstracting all trajectories of care</li><li>
Verify and update all information compiled, and enter data into the application in a timely manner</li><li>
Code injuries, procedures, and causes of injuries using standard medical record references, specifically International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Ninth and Tenth Revision (9/10) codes, assign diagnoses Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) and ICD-9/10-CM (Clinical Modification) codes, ICD-10-PCS and CPT codes, and complete Injury Severity Scale (ISS) and other calculations for an average of one hundred eighty (180) levels of trauma care per week or three hundred sixty (360) orthopedic procedures per week or 120 Infectious disease records per week with at least 90% average accuracy.</li><li>
Correct audited inaccuracies within 7 days of audit utilizing the government provided abstracting business rules</li><li>
Complete abstraction time and medical record documentation in JTSM daily</li><li>
Serve as a trauma and clinical subject matter expert to non-clinical personnel</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing</li><li>
BSN prepared registered nurse, with an active nursing license in one of the fifty states</li></ul>
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Three to five (3-5) years&rsquo; experience</li><li>
Experience in caring for trauma patients in the emergency department, intensive care unit or in a deployed environment</li><li>
