 Alamo Group Inc. is seeking a Talent Advisor (Recruiter) to join our Talent Management team. New Braunfels, TX location preferred or remote.
 
 
 The Talent Advisor plays a key role in delivering effective, data-driven recruitment, retention, and talent development strategies across the organization. Reporting to the Sr. HR Manager, Talent Management &amp; Recruiting, this position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and hiring managers to manage full-cycle recruiting and support broader talent initiatives.

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand workforce plans, role requirements, and local culture, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage day-to-day recruiting operations, including requisition intake, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and offer coordination.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), recruiting platforms, and career sites, ensuring data integrity and user support.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize innovative sourcing strategies, including social media, job boards, and networking, to attract high-quality candidates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate pre-employment background checks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate candidate records and manage dispositioning within the ATS.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support offer preparation and extension in partnership with hiring teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely, professional communication.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee employment eligibility verification processes (I-9/E-Verify compliance).
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate new hire onboarding, including HRIS entry and orientation support.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with EEO, VETS, and AAP requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to process improvements that enhance recruiting and HR operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support talent development initiatives, including LMS administration and training coordination.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with employee programs such as educational assistance and scholarship processing, as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as assigned.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, plus 3-5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on talent acquisition; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with HR systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to travel up to 10% and work extended hours as needed.

 Preferred Qualifications

 PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in a manufacturing environment with multi-state and/or global operations.
