Current NYS RN License. Experience in a surgical practice preferred. Must have at least three to five years&rsquo; clinical experience or equivalent combination of education, training. CPR/ BLS certifications are required.<br>

RESPONSIBILITIES<br>
<br>
<ul><li>Provides and assists physician(s) with triage of patients.</li><li>Provides initial patient assessment and ensure that patient information is available in the electronic health record (EHR) for physicians.</li><li>Performs and/or assists physicians with examinations, procedures, and orders as required.</li><li>Collects lab specimens and submits them for processing, as required.</li><li>Follows-up on all labs as required.</li><li>Follow up on patients after procedures.</li><li>Maintains and monitors approved standards of practice to ensure that regular and special procedures are in a safe and competent manner.</li><li>Facilitates and coordinates patient and family education regarding care and treatment programs, health choices, and other factors to ensure compliance with treatment programs and/or prevent illness or injury.</li><li>Ensure quality initiatives and process improvements are compliant.</li><li>Keep up on and complete all CLIA/Joint Commission; weekly monthly regulations</li><li>Complete yearly modules and AMC competencies</li><li>Complete daily logs, example: all Joint commission regulations</li></ul><br>
