Job Title: Full-Time Assistant for Albrecht &amp; Barney Law CorporationLocation: Irvine, CaliforniaAlbrecht &amp; Barney, a leading estate planning law firm in Orange County, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and confident in their proofreading skills. If you are self-motivated, organized, and enjoy being part of a team, we would love to hear from you. Two years' experience in an office environment is preferred.This position requires the employee to work in the office 5 days a week in Irvine, California.Responsibilities would include, but not limited to:&middot; Manage and maintain attorneys' calendars, including scheduling client meetings and internal deadlines.&middot; Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person.&middot; Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic, including scanning documents into electronic files, ensuring accuracy and easy accessibility.&middot; Assist with the preparation of business, estate, and tax documents, including word processing and proofreading.&middot; Assemble and notarize client documents.&middot; Serve as a liaison between clients and the attorney to ensure clear, timely, and courteous communication.&middot; Draft and prepare deeds and related documents for recording.&middot; Handle sensitive and confidential client information with the highest level and discretion and care.&middot; Provide backup support for phones and assist other team members when they are out of the office, as needed.&middot; Support special projects and perform miscellaneous administrative duties.Qualifications:&middot; Experience in a professional office environment preferred.&middot; Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification.&middot; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and general comfort with computer systems.&middot; Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with clients.&middot; Ability to adapt quickly, take initiative, and support a variety of administrative needs.&middot; Keen attention to detail and ability to proofread documents.&middot; Commitment to always maintain confidentiality.Education/License/Certification:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (Preferred)&middot; Licensed California Notary Public (Preferred)Benefits:&middot; Paid Health insurance&middot; Paid time off (PTO) and holidays&middot; 401K Retirement Plan (with employer match when vested)&middot; Group Disability and Life Insurance&middot; Employee Appreciation EventsCompany's website:https://albrechtbarney.comPay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourExperience:<ul><li>Professional Office : 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
