About the role:</div><div></div><div>
In Alcoa Corporation&rsquo;s Finance Leadership Development Rotational Program, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to work and learn at one of the world&rsquo;s most respected companies including being named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index . In August of each year, the new financial analysts begin their work rotating through four challenging assignments (six months each) in Alcoa&rsquo;s Finance organization. The rotations give the analysts first-hand exposure to Alcoa&rsquo;s business processes and values. The program also emphasizes professional development with formal and informal feedback, and exposure to executives throughout the rotation. The rotational assignments are based at Alcoa&rsquo;s corporate center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.</div><div></div><div>
At the end of the two-year program, the analysts will ideally be placed as an analyst in one of our Resource Units or at one of Alcoa&rsquo;s production locations. The program is designed to develop the analysts to take the next step in their finance careers, and ultimately, in their careers as Alcoa business leaders.</div><div></div><div>
Key responsibilities within the four rotational assignments include:</div><div></div><div>
Financial Planning &amp; Analysis</div><ul><li>
Perform and consolidate monthly reporting for use by Alcoa&rsquo;s top business leaders</li><li>
Conduct operating plan and forecast reviews</li><li>
Analyze performance against key financial metrics</li><li>
Work with plant finance representatives to explain operating results and variances, as well as to highlight business challenges and opportunities</li></ul><div></div><div>
Financial Accounting</div><ul><li>
Analyze monthly closing results and assist with preparation of financial statements</li><li>
Analyze impact of accounting changes</li><li>
Collaborate with team members to develop new or improved accounting policies or procedures</li><li>
Participate in communications with key plant and legal entity leaders on financial impact of accounting and business issues</li></ul><div></div><div>
Internal Audit</div><ul><li>
Provide objective and professional evaluation of Alcoa&rsquo;s internal control and management systems</li><li>
Perform location assessments as part of multi-functional team which may include travel to manufacturing sites in the United States, Canada or Europe</li><li>
Perform audits under Sarbanes Oxley accounting standards</li><li>
Identify and present process improvement opportunities to business managers</li></ul><div></div><div>
Treasury</div><ul><li>
Increase knowledge and understanding of the structure, activities, and purpose of the Global Treasury department, including: Overall Structure, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Insurance Risk Management, and Digital Treasury</li><li>
Ensure assigned projects are completed in an accurate and timely manner</li><li>
Utilize opportunities to network with individuals in the Global Treasury department</li></ul><div></div><div>

What you can bring to the role:</div><ul><li>
A Bachelor's degree in business &ndash; Accounting or Finance majors preferred</li><li>
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, with a major GPA of 3.2 or higher</li><li>
Courses in basic accounting completed with at least a &quot;B&quot; average</li><li>
A graduation date of December 2025 or Spring 2026</li><li>
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products</li><li>
A desire to grow your career within Alcoa</li><li>
Strong problem solving and analytical skills</li><li>
Excellent communication skills</li><li>
A collaborative mindset and an ability to work on team</li></ul><div></div><div>
