You will be responsible for leading the advancement of the Digital twin of eye project, partner with key Alcon leaders to establish future strategy and direction, develop network of resource partners to accomplish project goals.
Digital Twin of Eye is a Modeling and Simulation (M&amp;S) driven research and development project, specifically in the area of computational human eye model development to support R&amp;D device / therapy development and interaction with human eye.
In this role, a typical day will include:
<ul><li>Lead Alcon&rsquo;s vision for a Digital Twin of the Eye, developing physically realistic multi-physics models that accurately simulate ocular physiology and interactions with Alcon products and systems.</li><li>
Define the strategic roadmap and future direction of digital twin capabilities in alignment with R&amp;D objectives across multiple technology platforms.</li><li>
Serve as a subject matter expert in Computational Modeling &amp; Simulation (FEA, CFD) and leverage AI/ML methods to advance simulation-driven engineering and innovation.</li><li>
Assess model credibility and establish robust verification and validation methodologies to ensure scientific and technical accuracy.</li><li>
Partner with R&amp;D leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to define objectives, develop work plans, and build modeling/simulation capabilities that support strategic business and product goals.</li><li>
Establish and manage external partnerships, including academic, industry, and vendor resources, while overseeing project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and milestone execution.</li><li>
Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal and external teams, driving digital twin workstreams through successful completion.</li><li>

As a Dry Eye Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for covering a large territory and focusing on a defined target list of physicians and practitioners. This is a remote role supporting the Knoxville, TN territory. The position also ensures that the needs of all partners are met in compliance with company guidelines, while developing strong relationships and maintaining an active presence within the pharmaceutical community and associated organizations throughout the Knoxville, TN area.
In this role, a typical day will include:<ul><li>
Build disease awareness with key partners, validated understanding of treatment initiation processes, patient identification etc.</li><li>
Collaborate with partners, internally and externally, on prior authorization, payor restrictions, reimbursement stipulations, and patient referrals to support patient access.</li><li>
Manage the sales budget and grow sales across the territory through development of impactful territory plan and engaging communications.</li><li>
Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks.</li><li>
Grow relationships and communications with all partners and communities to develop solid understanding of treatment algorithm and business dynamics within accounts.</li><li>
Implement compliant and medically relevant programs to effect significant customer satisfaction and sales.</li><li>
Cover and visit all customers in the area of responsibility according to their importance and potential.</li><li>
Manages accounts for all business-related aspects (sales, negotiation, development, relation with owner and managers, define solutions for customer needs).</li><li>
Develop excellent and fruitful relations with customers and opinion leaders.</li><li>
Participate, develop, and conduct different meetings and events (congresses, round tables, trainings).</li><li>
Establish and present action plans to achieve sales target.</li><li>
Plan and track agreed account metrics and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly.</li><li>
Keeps constant touch on market evolution.</li><li>
Coordinate trainings, informative programs, and product presentations.</li><li>
Prospect the market for new accounts and identify grow opportunities.</li></ul>
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.+0 yrs.)</li><li>
