Role SummaryWe&rsquo;re hiring a proactive Site Engineer to prepare quotations and BOQs, supervise day-to-day site works, and deliver civil projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Project &amp; Site Execution</li><li>Plan and oversee daily/weekly site activities.</li><li>Coordinate subcontractors and in-house teams; enforce HSE and method statements.</li><li>Resolve site issues quickly and flag risks/variations in advance.</li><li>Quotations, BOQs &amp; Cost Control</li><li>Prepare accurate take-offs, BOQs, and competitive quotations (tenders/change orders).</li><li>Validate rates/assumptions, track budgets, certify quantities, and drive value engineering.</li><li>Procurement &amp; Vendor Management</li><li>Source materials, obtain/evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate terms, and place POs as per specs/BOQ.</li><li>Maintain a reliable network of civil/finishing suppliers and specialty subcontractors; monitor deliveries and material logs.</li><li>Coordination &amp; Stakeholder Management</li><li>Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams for drawings, approvals, inspections, and RFIs.</li><li>Lead technical meetings and issue clear MOMs with action closures.</li><li>Quality Assurance &amp; Compliance</li><li>Implement ITPs, method statements, and material/submittal approvals per project specs/codes.</li><li>Conduct inspections to verify workmanship and compliance.</li><li>Progress Tracking &amp; Reporting</li><li>Maintain baseline and look-ahead programs, site diaries, and trackers.</li><li>Submit weekly/monthly progress reports, cost updates, and handover documentation.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering (BSc/BE/B.Tech).</li><li>Experience: 3&ndash;5 years in civil/construction projects with proven ability to prepare quotations/BOQs and supervise sites.</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and familiarity with additional software like Revit, SketchUp, or Civil 3D is a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of civil materials, methods, and sequencing; familiarity with contracts, procurement, and budgeting.</li><li>Core Competencies:</li><li>Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized.</li><li>Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.</li><li>Deadline-driven and solution-focused.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From BD250.000 per monthExperience:<ul><li>construction field: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Bahrain driving licence (Preferred)</li></ul>
