Full job description:We are a boutique Law Firm seeking a Junior Immigration Attorney specializing in litigation, EOIR and USCIS matters to join our team. This position is ideal for any entry-level attorney with a passion and high interest in the immigration field.Position Overview:The Attorney will work under Senior Legal guidance and collaborate with Paralegals and support staff to deliver high-quality legal representation. This position will handle a variety of immigration cases before EOIR and USCIS, including but not limited to asylum hearings, removal proceedings, family-based immigration petitions, AOS Process and other related matters.Key Responsibilities:&middot; Attend Master/Individual Hearings as required&middot; Attend USCIS Field Interviews as required&middot; Assist in the preparation of Clients for Individual Hearings, USCIS Interviews, including mock sessions and document review&middot; Review FOIA Results for background assessments&middot; Develop tailored legal strategies for complex cases with Senior Attorneys&middot; Draft and file Court Motions electronically/by mail/in-person&middot; Draft and file immigration petitions and applications as needed&middot; Conduct Legal Research and stay updated on the latest immigration laws and policiesEducation/Qualifications:&middot; Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree&middot; Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdictionSkills:&middot; Bilingual &ndash; Fluency in English and Spanish&middot; Strong interpersonal communication skills&middot; Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail&middot; Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently&middot; Excellent research, writing and legal analysis skillsJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
